If you struggle with contrast paint, id absolutely recommend army painter speedpaints. theyre closer to a gel than a wash, which makes them much easier to shmove around
For parts like capes your best bet would be to start with a dark base coat (black for example) then Dry brush a grey colour, then do a white ish dry brush on the raised edges. After that apply a contrast paint to finish. Looks really good otherwise :)
Thanks! For the basic enamel I'll use streaking grime or a brown enamel wash by AK. I mainly use it to get shadows and contrast Into the recesses. I'll then wait 10 minutes or so then get out either a micro fibre cloth or cotton buds dab them in Windsor and Newton's oderless solvent. This will re activate and remove the enamel all over the mini until I get the look I'm going for. I find it quite hard to put into words how I do it but I'll make a video on it soon!
Great video, Really like your part on the washes - I’m planning a white armour world eaters for heresy, what did you prime the praetor with and did you use varbish before the enamel wash? Looking into oil washes myself, thanks!
Thanks! I used white scar spray from GW and applied the wash straight on it. If its easy to apply the varnish you can probably save some time but it will only be in the crevices. If you want to stain some of the pannels like in the video just apply it straight on it and re highlight any parts with ulthuan grey. Hope that helps! Not sure if I put it in the video but the wash I used was ak interactive "wash dark brown for green vehicles"
Hi, I generally buy my foam off of eBay. The seller is called "underfloorheatingstore" the foam I used in this was a 50mm XPS insulation board for about £16. I prefer the grey foam but the pink stuff is just as good!
@Miniverse ah ok thank you so much. Great build by the way I only discovered your channel yesterday and I'm slowly making my way through your videos and I'm not disappointed
Just like the Templar diorama... It's empty. It feels like three marines on an empty planet. What I would have done here is use the bodies of many Sons Of Horus in piles, rubble is everywhere, and these three guys fight on.
Whats your favourite Hersesy?
I loved the part when Horus said "I will now commit the Warhammer® Horus Heresy®"
I like the interesting alternative motives that Pertarabo has for joining the Heresy, adds very much needed diversity to the rebellion
Well hey, you’ve got 60+ books in the Horus Heresy to listen to whilst making the next diorama!
You know what. That white armor is pretty dammn awsome 👌 how about a Horus Heresy bike diorama? 👀👀
Thanks! I have to admit the jet bikes do look good
Great work. Would be cool to see a Judge Dredd or FFVII diorama!!!
Judge Dredd sounds like a great idea!

Thanks I'll look into them!
Dude should do more Heresy videos (Iron Warriors honk honk), loving the paint schemes w/minimal paints and washes 🔥
Thanks, hopefully I'll get to them!
A good wash is wyldwood contrast paint and just wiping it off
Looks awesome! This channel is definitely underrated!
Thanks!
Looks really good 😊
Would love to see a Marvel and DC mashup!
Thanks! Some of the marvel crisis protocols are pretty cool, I may have to make one with them!
Very cool.
Thanks?
This is a underrated channel
Thanks!!
Please do a diorama of Thor facing off with Gladiator Hulk a la "Thor: Ragnarok".
Well done
I was here before this channel blew up
I hear that 8 bit version of "Through the Trees" 4:23
ha you have a good ear, honestly a great rendition of the original!

Awesome! How do you get into enamel washes and streaking grime? What do you use?

Actually Curious what brand the black wash is it AK or MIG?
Hi, it's the Black Enamel wash by MIG
I live in the uk and I'm finding it hard to find a reliable foam supply do you have any tips?
