PP1: “S-Log Pro” - for shoots that I want the high dynamic range for and intend to grade, without sacrificing colour information. Lowest ISO you can use is 1600.
• Black Level: 0
• Gamma: S-Log2
• Black Gamma: Middle / 0
• Knee: Auto
• Color Mode: Pro
• Saturation: +3
• Color Phase: 0
• Color Depth: R +5, G +2, B +2, C +2, M -2, Y +2
• Detail: Level -2
• Mode: Manual
• Details: V/H Balance: 0, B/W Balance: Type5, Limit: 3, Crispening: 3, Hi-Light Detail: 2
“S-Log Pro” custom profile provides the same dynamic range that you can expect from the S-Log 2, but it uses the Pro colour space of the camera rather than S-Gamut with a few other minor tweak settings.
PP2: “The No Grader” - when there’s no need/time to colour correct.
• Gamma: Cine1
• Color Mode: ITU709 Matrix
• Color Depth: R +2
• Detail: Level -3, Auto Adjust
• All other settings are set to default
This profile utilizes the Cine1 Gamma and Rec.709 colour space. It’s most suitable for fast turnarounds and on other instances where you need to shoot in-camera footage ready for delivery without any further tweaking.

heey, can you help me with this? I cant stand the minimum 200 ISO for video. Each time I am outside the image burns out and I am blocked from resetting it.
I was thinking maybe I should wait for a 7 s III to upgrade my a 7 II but even if it comes out soon it will probably be too pricey. Insted I'm now thinking of getting a 7 III first. Will it be a signaficant improvement in video quality though? May be I should also start making my own a 7 II reviews...

thanks for the vid, I have my Sony a7 ii and I think it's great for photos(I've been working as a photographer for some car events) but I can't make video with her. I'm using the standard in box lens, Sony's 28-70 3.5/5.6 but the image quality is very low even using xav.. 50p 50
or at least, image seems nice while shotted, but the overall quality is not such a thing when seen on pc.

Yo. I love your videos man. I’ve been shooting with the a7ii for about a year now and no matter what I shoot.... 24fps, 60fps, s-log, pp1, pp2. My video comes out super bad. I’m shooting in xavc s, auto focus continuous and have 3 different lenses. Maybe you could help me out with me next piece of content? You’re video looks 10 times better

And maaan, I really gave up in working with sony pp, maybe I'm doing wrong. But after some experiments I found piece in standart no pp image...))
