So if people own both they would be able to swap between a head with a faceplate and this one which is without.

Got this guy and I love him. Legs at the thigh are pretty lose but still durable. Pretty good figure

Great review! I have all the G1 headmasters reissues but mine are the oversized weijiang mp scaled ones. Same as hasbro's, but with some diecast and hinged panels to cover hollow spots in arms where hands fold out.

@@PrimeVsPrime if you happen to see this, know I actually love the fast pace and enthusiasm. From one collector to another I can tell you're actually as excited as I get when we get that package in the mail and tear into it.
Well. Frick. I already have a Quake usage of this mold, and that's one of my favorite Transformers toys, but this is gorgeous.
So I got back into Tranformers when I picked up the TR version which was on sale for $10 or so, and I haven't looked back. Not sure if I'll pick up this version, but I do look forward to grabbing the other Autobot Headmasters, and I absolutely recommend this to anyone who didn't get the TR version of Hardhead.

Hasbro needs to start releasing the unreleased G1 Arcee and unreleased G1 Unicron figures.
Too expensive and Hasbro likely lost the design sketches.
Every time I see this mold I think of Beast Machines Tankor.
I bought my first transformer a few months ago the afterlife ecto 1 and now I can't stop I have x spanse, ss hot rod, studio series blurr and shattered glass blurr netflix kingdom megatron kingdom bw megs and primal ,gigawatt, headmaster skullcruncher and just ordered this guy I need to stop treating myself and start saving for Christmas.
It looks soooo good. I got 4 different headmasters this weekend.

I feel like they will tackle new combiners and head masters within the next 10 years. While we wait, I think these will hold me over just fine.
I was really hoping they would have added the Strength/Speed/Intelligence meter under the canopy like they had on my original G1 toy.

When you open the gun seat up the panel can collapse to make like the back of a chair, helps the silhouette

That is a really cool figure and the G1 box makes it cooler
The head is the ball joint when transformed; every time you slot it in basically you are risking to break the small head; which means you would damage the small robot and can't use the head anymore. That seems to be quite a big design flaw of these figures
hey man! do you know if he is fit for stop motion and does his leg stay stable and not slide out into splits

Random question but does anybody know if SS Buzzworthy shatter fixes the flaws on the original SS 40 shatter figure???
I still have the normal Titans Return version, but with the Grimlock head they released. Might pick this guy up for the better paint apps and put Grimlock's head on him again. 👍

I had this from the head masters line from I think... siege? I'm not sure. But the feet were messed up cause both were right feet

A tip My Hardhead. Figure Arm ( or shoulder) at the ball joint got Lose But Tin foil makes it stiff and better to move around

I've tried 3 different Hardhead's each bought separately at locations month apart and all have jelly legs. Am I alone in my troubles?
It is always the same with these people at hasbro, you can't avoid to feel as if you have been ripped off, they know there is a difficult to measure tresshold beetween the initial release of a figure, the end of its production run, the start of the aftermarket offer and the unlikely chance of a re-run , you go and purchase a figure from them, and after all this cycle, you see a re-run much better painted and boxed, they try to instigate the reselling of the old releases for the purchase of the re-runs, not only ruining instantly the after market value of the original run so you can't even get half the price now, but also leaving the ones that supported them initially feeling as overhiped idiots, I started my collection as a real hardcore fan many years ago, but now, all these has make me feel as if I only own trash, $8K of original runs trash, It is not worth it to be a pawn on their f.up game.
Yeah I agree that does suck. It’s something that has annoyed me recently with the Netflix reissues. It’s something that unfortunately I don’t think will ever change
I dont believe hasbro cares and they never should care about aftermarket value.
@@kingragnork , Taking in consideration that not all G1 style entusiast collectors have lots of money to keep spending, because of 40+ age responsabilities like a family for example, and that the aftermarket is the way to go for us to re-imburse and re-invest the money back into Hasbro, then they MUST care, otherwise they will continue to eat their own tail, our age group of customers is the one that gets things moving the most, and no matter what TF generation of collectors you are in, the adult collector age range from 28 to 45 will always be there keeping the cycle of the aftermarket beneficial for Hasbro , well that is If they respect us and stop that scam of always releasing purposely poor painted figures only to re-issue them as they SHOULD ACTUALLY HAD TO BE to begin with.

An older release?? It's like 2 years old. They've been doing waist swivels and ankle tilts whenever the design allows for it for at least 20 years.
For my copy, the cannon was very loose and the head's "legs" wouldn't go all the way back.

If you are familiar with the Prime Masters & Titan Masters do you believe that the new Transformers toys will lead to a connection to the G1 Rebirth series?

whenever i see a ''tank'' transformer with 4 separate treads its just so obvious they are arms and legs it looks silly to me
I have the original titans return hardhead but a "friend" stole him and when he gave it back he claimed it was his but never used it. Ik he lied because I had the Missing pieces minus the cannon

Im a bit disappointed with the one I got. His cannon platform(?) thing is really loose and so his cannon just flops around and his hips are just a tad looser then what I would like. But his authentic is really good. Mine has perfect paint.
Same, the treads all flop about and the cannon moves too much.
Such a shame as he looks good, if he stays in place.

I don’t really understand the love for this guy? I’m 20 years old so I wasn’t around for the g1 release so I’m assuming it’s a nostalgia thing or something? I feel like I see this figure everywhere like on the internet and every time I see him I actually lose interest. I promise I’m not trying to be a Debby downer or anything but I just don’t see it. Maybe it’s the lore of the character itself? I’ll have to look into it. But I’m just super confused. Never been a head master fan so that might also add to my dislike of the figure. I just don’t get it he’s ugly to me transformation and all. I know I know it seriously isn’t that deep, people can like or dislike whatever they want but I would really appreciate it if someone explained to me why this guy is loved. Thank you if you read this far and are willing to help me out.
....And the back of the figure? These looked so good but just seem so hollow and 'wafer cone'. Nailed the G1 looks but seemed to skimp on the plastic. I'm afraid to spend the $$$,

I just can't get into head masters TFs after WFC. They just don't look as good as WFC line. Oh, well. More for you collectors who do I guess.
