- Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon Escalade Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement
In this video I show how I fix an issue that arised with my Chevy Suburban's ABS, Stabilitrak and traction control system. Although, the parts I used in this video to fix my truck did the job, this problem can occur from a few different issues (grounding, wiring, etc...).

Excellent video, and I like your troubleshooting techniques.
One thing, though... You spray brake clean into the sensor hole on the front and that is a huge NO NO... brake clean will dilute and make useless the pre-loaded grease in the wheel bearing, possibly leading to early bearing failure... Best to clean it before you remove the sensor. Cheers!
good video bud, going to test mine.
very clear and helpful
Thank you and thank you very much for watching.
Great instructions. Your Video is clear and tips are appreciated.

I love that you show the mechanic's book and read from it. It tells kids who may be interested in cars and that they need to know how to read!

I had this pop up for either a p0300 codes aka arcin thru the spark plug boot to the coil mountin nut, like lightnin causin misfires...new cables cured it, to a faulty brake light switch $10 at the pedal, and a faulty oil press sender...all bs as there nothin wrong w the actual ABS or sensors...whatever...jeeeeeez...thanks man...nice vid

Gotta 07 Silverado. It goes on and off randomly every time I drive but the good thing is it no longer jerks when I go at low speeds for some reason idk why it stopped doing that 😂

Did your vehicles engine idle rough before you changed the speed sensors?
Nope. It ran fine.
I think now it’s the upper engine mount bc it’s completely rotted out. If not than I’m pretty sure it’s an O2 sensor. Thank you Terrance
You're very welcome. Let me know what it was when you figure it out. Thanks,
I can't even start the engine when i turn the key it cranks like as if i have a dead battery but the battery is reading 12.8
Hi Austin, does the starter seem like is dragging? Or is it clicking when you try to start it?
What else would cause traction control and stabilizer light to come on after replacing wheel speed sensors, spark plugs and wires? There is no play in the wheel hubs or noise, no rough idle. Just comes on and stays on.
Plugs and wires has nothing to do with the traction control/ABS system. What year, make and model is your vehicle? Please let me know.
2013 Chevy suburban
Okay. Is the service engine light on as well? Despite the traction light on, it still drives fine correct?
No service engine light on that's why I'm baffled
You are getting the message of "service stabilitrak, and traction control across the screen correct? Although the service engine light is not on, there are codes stored in BCM that needs to be read in order for you to pin point the issue. A regular OBD II scanner will not read those codes. I have dealt with many situations regarding those lights. A common issue was the "Steering Wheel Position Sensor". I am not saying that is your problem, but I would not be surprised if it is.
Got the same 3 lights on ,
What trouble code?
Me too, just replaced all 4 sensors. Still the same messages. I need to capture the wheel sensor live data.
So 8 sensors in total ?
4 sensors. One for each wheel. Here is a link for the part...

Mine just popped up and has a hard shift from first to second and the engine power is reduced
Edit: my RPM was also building up to 1000 when I was rolling on the street with foot off the gas.
I have a video on my channel for that fix.
@@TerenceDIY I seen the video of code p0171 and found that the same line was disconnected and the plastic as broken
@@TerenceDIY thank you that video did help a lot on getting my angry dad back on the road
@TerenceDIY whats the video? I couldnt find it.
Mine has the same issue as this commenter's after a throttle body cleaning.
