Seeing that you can kill the scav king with vulture, now you gotta do a pacifist artificer run
actually, you gotta kill him yourself, it worked for him only because of the singularity bomb. if the king vulture fly away with the chieftain scav than you're just srued, and gotta reload, because that doesent counts as a kill.

@@stevenex5547 Do you need to get the kill or does the king scav just need to die? Vultures don't ever kill what they grab, they just fly off with it. Unmasked vultures bite to kill though, so I'm now wondering if tricking an unmasked king vulture into shooting and then biting scav king would do enough damage to drop the mask.

Yeah i found that out when after my slug cat looked at a scav the wrong way and annoyed them into stabbing me and you guessed it my big beefy fat body survived

Funny thing about the red lizard here at 1:42, this is the room that it lives in. However, its relationship with the room is Forbidden, which is hilarious. Meaning that if it gets food, it then takes forever for it to deliver the food to its den, and it's also very derpy in that room. Since it's forbidden from that room, it always goes into the room right next to it, which has a red centipede. So it will usually experience shock therapy. It's really fun to mess with the red lizard.
Taming it is also a hefty challenge. Basically, you have to try to kill the red centipede before it kills you or the red lizard, and also avoid getting killed by the red lizard. Then feed it enough food and do it fast while praying that the red centipede doesn't respawn before you tame it. It also takes forever for it to deliver its food, so it takes longer than usual just to feed it. If you want a challenge, this is one that is more difficult than it looks. Also there is the added challenge of it just being Artificer's campaign, where the scavengers are an added challenge to deal with.

Fun fact, the console version of downpour has a glitch that lets you passage to any region, as any character! As a result, in my first ever Gourmand playthrough, I passaged to metropolis as Gourmand, completely unaware that this was otherwise impossible. At one point I started wrangling vultures with the grappling worms to get up places

I think the reason the gourmand is capable of surviving a spear hit occasionally is that it has slightly more health than other slugcats, or hitting certain body parts deals less damage as gourmand.

its not possible to beat rivulets campaign legitimately as any other character because you need both hands to hold the rarefaction cell, meaning you can't use bubble weed, which is 100% essential for every other slugcat in submerged
@@pixelgamerpro1597you can actually traverse the underwater area in gourmands campaign to get the cloak, it is very difficult but possible since he can craft bubble weed!

Just use the singularity bomb for the guardians in saints campaign
the problem is the lack of karma flowers in Saints campaign, which are a key ingredient of a gravity bomb

I honestly thought about things like this since the text file stuff for co-op downpoor campaigns was found,but it seems to mostly have been catching on recently.
So I guess i WILL see what happens even with my lack of rain world,so time to enjoy the extra content.

If the Karmarti mod actually worked still, you could've used that as a good substitute. It still sorta works, letting you transport Scavs with no movement penalty, but the karma mooching is still not working.

Yeah, most gourmand rules for him apply too, if he can get his hands on a squidcada or a grapple worm all the platforming sections are likely possible, and the combat, while slightly harder, isn't too bad.

Because Spearmaster takes place before Artificer, I was curious if the chieftain scavenger is still in Metropolis. So I started a new spearmaster game, went to the wall, used dev tools to get to metropolis, and... He's not there. But hey it's possible to get to him with no explosive jump, squidcadas, or grapple worms

When I was trying to beat the king scav, around my 20th attempt the king vulture spawned. The Scav killed it but he got pinned to a wall with no weapons near him and I just finished him of. I was convinced till this day that the game just pitied me and bugged out but it spawned for Htwo as well XD

I feel like gourmand is for more sneaky gameplay rather than f*ck it and spam sh*t.
This is especially is reflected in gourmand's ability to PUT THE POWER OF ALMIGHTY GODS in his spear throws that are weakened TEN-FOLD after the first spear throw.

either using jolly co-op and setting the amount of players to 1 and just using gourmand, or some other mod.
