As someone who was raised here, I can say this is down right true . All that money brunswick has and the officials rather put it all towards the islands we have instead of fixing up housing buildings and roads that's been rotting away for over 20 years 😑 so much more could be done but they choose not to do it and rather put up false advertisement that it's a wonderful city. Where? On the islands yes !

I was born in Brunswick, but raised all over the USA due to a military dad. Moved back there when he retired and was there from 1978 until 2017. We left and went to Appling county, out in the country. I'll never live in Brunswick again.
Rough "hoods" - Dixville, Brick City, Brunswick Villa, Arco, most of south end, Norwich street, Glynnvilla, and coming in real close is some of the now older "used to e nice" neighborhoods - magnolia park, Fairway Oaks, beverly shores, College park....
Brunswick is NOTHING like it used to be...

I live in Brunswick Ga. I don’t live down town but I drive in it everyday. It wouldn’t be that bad if people would clean up their trash. There’s a car wash place that has trash all around their business. If you can’t clean up your business I don’t want you cleaning my car. Residents need to pick up the trash in their yards and clean up the bushes and trees. The problem is most don’t care and the people that do don’t have the money for any lawn care or lawn equipment. It’s sad. I’d also like to add that people drive crazy as it is around here and running stop signs and worrying about recording doesn’t help. Showing the bad parts of different towns doesn’t help either unless you’re doing it to try and find the residence help. Are you planning on sending them some CZcams money to fix up their house? Maybe a lending hand? These videos are a little insulting.

Not bad I give it a solid 9 out of 10...looks more like a older neighborhood. All the cars are nice and well kept. Eight minutes in and I only saw one drug dealer. Kids playing on the streets with a cute little doggie not a Rottweiler or pitbull ...just happy little doggie...
If I was their governor I would chip in and help them renovate etc.. I am sure most of the people living there have paid taxes for decades. Fix up the roads , help with landscaping (cleaning garbage) ...and a tax free bonus of about 4,000 ish to help with renovations outside and in..they just need a little boost...the city has the $$$ you better believe it , they just choose to spend it all on themselves rather than to help those that need it the most..
God bless to all who reads this

I’m not from Chicago but from Atl...I lived in Decatur and College Park both were not that bad compared to some parts of downtown Atl..I used to also be a crack head stripper for almost 10 years, until Jesus got a firm hold on me..
So ya I’ve done a few things and seen a few things..
      Downtown Atl is no joke..

I'm thinking about moving to Brunswick Georgia and what I'm seeing here is just run down houses not a bad neighborhood. This neighborhood looks sort of like my suburbs. You want to see a bad neighborhood just look up Bushwick NY. When your public schools are surrounded with stockade fencing and razor wire then I'll say it's a bad neighborhood.
