Joaquin Turina's Invocation from 5 Danzas Gitanas

Pianist Sara Davis Buechner performs Invocation (Invocación) from 5 Danzas Gitanas, Op.84. This is from the second series of the famous Spanish dances by Joaquín Turina, first published in 1934. Danzas Gitanas can be translated as Gypsy Dances.
Ms. Buechner had the opportunity to meet Turina's daughter in Madrid, who very much liked Buechner's interpretation of her father's piano works, that she came to know thru Ms. Buechner's CD, Joaqin Turina: Mujeres Espanolas (Women Of Spain).
