@@syntinel9481 No one in the DC universe is feeble or weak even if you do Killed him i'm pretty sure that inmortality chemical is contaminating the water
Oh I loved this one. Superman wasn't the only one that felt more human. The whole league just looking like a big family made this great. Don't get me wrong, I love the JLA being heroic, but there's something really nice about seeing them between battles just enjoying themselves.
I really like the idea of Superman being able to willingly depower himself with a full power solar blast, I hope this ability becomes a permanent part of his powerset going forward. It has so much potential for drama and shenanigans; sacrificing his power to take down a supervillain but then becoming vulnerable to other weaker villains, depowering himself to trick people who figured out his secret identity, needing to figure out how to safely discharge his solar reserves so a surgeon can remove a kryptonite bullet from his body, etc.
It's maddening that even though superman has a hangover, a rare beard, a wound on his head, Lois still can't figure out superman IS Clark Kent just because he's wearing glasses.
It's not like he can't grow a beard naturally anyway, there have been few times where Superman has fully grown out his beard, he just gives himself laser hair removal so he never grows one.
Thing is Superman's disguise makes sense but what doesn't make sense is whenever something bad happens in the Daily Planet with both Clarke and Lois in it. Clarke just disappears and Superman comes out of nowhere and Lois doesn't get a hint
It's Superman, why would he have a secret identity? He probably just flies to his fortress of solitude when he's not stopping crime. An alien that strong, with that many powers, working a regular 9-5? That's even more ridiculous than him existing in the first place.
see why can’t the justice league ever make movies like this they’re just good friends and they’re working to get stronger and beat up criminals, superman and batman don’t want to fight each other, no one dies, the entire city doesn’t get disintegrated, it’s just simple justice league action
Absolutely fantastic JL chemistry. I am sick of everyone being moody and generally acting like they despise each other's existences in recent interactions both in comics, shows and movies. It's so refreshing to see them laughing together and showing concern towards each other
@@WannabeWryter Yeah at some point someone goes like "remember the good times?" WHEN? Most comics with a team post-Ultimate saga (and during the Ultimate saga) either are so edgy that you could practically hear either RadioHead, Nirvana, or Green Day in the background, or hate each other so much they're like characters in a soap opera. Give us the wholesome teams.
2:42 I dont know why, but Aquaman jokingly covering Wonder Woman's eyes so she can't see why Supes Is the "Man of Steel" and her putting his hand to the side Is both funny and wholesome.
Well, gotta make him balanced somehow, otherwise, writers will end up making another Silver Age supes who invents new powers with no drawbacks like a kid who makes up rules on the go just to win lmao
Man, clark being depowered in this way is actually really interesting. It's something he can control, while in every other case he gets hit with kryptonite or something. I wonder if by doing this, other kryptonian properties are taken away, like his weakness to red sunlight and kryptonite? It could make for some interesting scenarios, where clark actually has to get used to discharging his solar energy as a contingency for when the negatives of his kryptonian genetics are too much. I actually like that this trade-off style ability has positives in the negatives. Kryptonite has probably become a boring macguffin for most so this a fine way to depower superman imo.
i feel like seeing clark and an image of superman at the same time really shoulda been enough to piece together that hes superman then and there tbh. like i get the whole "if you dont expect to see a superhero working with you, you wont" thing that some versions of superman say, but there is really no way you could see clark and a picture of superman at the same time and not instantly realize theyre the same person. especially when they seem to have the same injuries in the same spots.
It mostly boils down to the fact that Superman officially doesn't have a secret identity. It makes sense with people like Batman, but Superman is a literal god, why would he waste his time being an average reporter? That and some stories give him hypnotic glasses, but im not sure how canon that is
If Superman manages to get an injury that leaves a scar that last longer than a day, then that fight he had was not captured by any media because no terrestrial video capture technology would have been able to withstand said encounter.
Was about to comment about how "solar radiation" is just any type of radiation from our sun, mostly thermal, so any laser he would be hit with would actually empower him, but then I remembered he can't stand "red" sun radiations, which, iirc, is just redshift from a solar body moving away from us.
Red stars are actually red, it's not just redshift (although redshifted stars can also look red). It's because they're a different temperature iirc, so they emit different wavelengths of radiation

3:02 ah. I see. This is when batman had a soft side. Holding the strongest man alive by his cheeks askin him where he wants to go have dinner. YOUR TREAT...ayo.
This could be a good premise for a new Superman video game since people are convinced being too OP is the main reason they have not done a new one recently
They should just make it a spectacle Fighter like Bayonneta and Devil May Cry, over the top campy action and combos. With the Heroes. Heading butt skyscrapers, suplexing dragon's and etc.
I love this. I've never been a fan of Superman but I like what this power does to the character. Forcing him to use it in some ways or another and having to deal with it could really evolve him in an interesting manner. He could easily defeat very powerful enemies but then he might need help or find a different way to deal with other enemies after he used his flare. I like it.
I’d imagine that one of the major drawbacks that Superman has from a solar flare like that is insane amounts of radiation being widespread but I guess not 🤷🏽♂️

I think he just wants to feel satisfied after a meal. I mean you don't starve as a kryptonian but that also means you don't have a yearning, so being hungry is a passionate human feeling clark never had
Well, food always tastes better when you're hungry. And given that Clark didn't need food to survive, he probably didn't need to regulate blood glucose, so food just always tasted how it did when you were full, he never got to truly savour or enjoy it
