The tendril colors should have been in the base game, it is crazy how they overlooked that
They were being rushed by Sony to push out the game so they had to sacrifice some small features for the overall quality of the game. They would have released it sooner but they got hacked

@@The-No-one bruh you can use the black suit after you beat the game. Idk about you but I just can't wear any black suits until the update because it makes no sense for white venom powers to come out of a black symbiote suit. It was obviously rushed like the other guy said

Yeah, these games leave me with an empty feeling after 100%. With all this AND a Carnage DLC likely in the future, I'm in high hopes. This is the first time I was here for DLC and updates releasing live.

@@Bredstikctruthfully I know exactly how they could make the game a ton more repeatable without dlc all they have to do is make in depth crimes happen throughout the map. We could have things like different enemy types from other factions maybe even if we had villains like kingpin in jail they could make it so his gang will try and break him out and we have to stop them and if you fail you get a boss fight like. The crime system should be more developed plus there should be way more different ones making it not feel like the same thing
They should make it so we can play as venom without a glich
They're making a game around that concept later on.

@@AncientVvampire Insomniac got hit with ransomeware a few months back. The hackers demanded $2M in exchange for not leaking their game plans for the future as well personal employee information. Insomniac refused to pay up, so those things were leaked.

honestly i wished that instead of just unlockable suits we gain from the ultimate level ups, i just wished we got more fighting moves similar to that barrage kick move that you can do when an enemy is against the wall. The intensity looks sick and its the only intense move you can do regularly in the game that isnt a symbiote power or symbiote influenced. Nothing else measures up to how badass that exact move looked and I bet they can do more like it in the final chapter. God i love insomniac
Definitely need more fighting moves, finishers, and traversal mechanics too. I also wish they could add more loops to the loop de loop swing and dual web swinging too.
@@Evin07see for me the traversal shouldn’t be too advanced because then it doesn’t feel like spider man I like where we are at rn but I would like to maybe have a bit more cool movement things maybe swinging around an object vertically like loupdeloup with out web breaking idk but the fighting 100% needs more they had some great ideas just focused too much on symbiote

I wanna see more spider like combat, not just ground and air but even on walls too! It really sucked not being able to fight symbiotes on walls like in web of shadows, and best believe it won't be available when we fight carnage and his symbiote cult

Honestly, I think it'd be really cool if when you replay missions that are normally suit locked if you could change your suit. There's no way I'm the only one who wants to fight The Lizard as the tasm 1 suit

@@raditz1642after you press triangle to enter the sewer press the touch pad as fast as you can if u time it right itll bypass the suit lock and your chosen suit will appear in the cutscene, if u die during the mission u have to restart and do the glitch again

I feel like their engine is too strict to add such a free choice like that
even if they did, whats the point tho? they'd do a stiff job and then we'd all just say 'well Web of Shadows did this way better' which they did, if Insomniac added a 'suit swap' feature it would be completely useless, you'd still have to go to the menu to swap your powers from 'mecha legs' to 'tendrils' and even that combat is nowhere near as good as Web of Shadows, and I didn't even mention Web of Shadows' good/evil choices too
Very hyper about the hellfire suits that Peter suits is one of my favorites
I feel like I'm the only one who want's this feature: Customizable lens, Like you can edit the len's to get that perfect eye expression for photo mode instead of the current eye preset's.

What I'd like them to add to the game is the ability to use whatever suits you want throughout the game without the game mandating you to use the insomniac suit and black suit. I found it emerging breaking. Whatever red and blue suit I picked would be automatically changed to the insomniac white spider only for the sake of the upcoming symbiote transformation to switch it to what they want you to wear.
I wonder what the gadget styles are, since we don’t really actually see the gadgets in game
I think it might actually be a new gadget tier, which would make sens along with the new difficulty
(And I think they did this in Miles Morales if I remember correctly)
I just hope they add a weather settings along with the time of day

Hopefully they fix the finisher things. Where like when you have the Symbiote abilities they have the Spider-Arms finishers. And when you have the Spider-Arm abilities they have the Symbiote finishers.
And how when you are fighting a crime they will randomly call out that symbiots have come even though there aren’t any around 😬

Hey was anyone else crazy enough to play zero swing assist and fall damage on the first go around?
Did it as an ego boost.
It’s not hard to play on zero swing assist as I completed the game with it off but after beating the game, I turned it back up to 10 because I just felt like it but I do still have fall damage on because it brings me back to the Spider-Man 2 game (2004)
I have it on 1 cause it annoys me when I randomly hit the ground and kills momentum. I also don’t put fall damage on cause even in cutscenes the characters don’t seem to be affected by it. Miles lands from a really high hight toward the end 🤣

I think that golden gadget styles is something like golden wephons styles in ratchet & clank rift apart. You get it go for getting all 25 golden bolts (collectibles)

@@youngentertainment8482 They got hacked and we found out the New Game + was already ready when the game launch. It’s been finished for that long and still not on PS5. The only people who can play NG+ are PC players

The Hellfire Gala suits are EXACTLY what I was qsking for!
I don't know if any of you will agree with this, but when it comes to the abilities for both Peter and Miles, I find it sad that we have to choose the ones we want to use, when actually this mechanic could have been handled in a better way, let me explain.
For example, do you remember the standalone Miles Morales? Well, when you wanted to use his abilities you just had to press L1 and X/TRIANGLE/SQUARE/CIRCLE thanks to your focus bar. So when one was full, you could actually do a venom attack.
I think instead of having that cool down mechanic in Spider Man 2, they should have taken exemple from the standalone mechanics.
So in Marvel Spider-Man 2 we know that we have orange and blue powers for miles and the robotic arms and the symbiote for Peter :
L1 + X/TRIANGLE/SQUARE/CIRCLE could have been for the orange powers (miles)/mechanical arms (peter)
R1 + X/TRIANGLE/SQUARE/CIRCLE could have been for the blue powers (miles)/symbiotic abilities (peter)
So that way we could have used them ALL AT ONCE
As for the finishers knowing that the focus bars would have been used for the abilities, those could have been performed once you perform enough hits like in miles morales!
For the gadjets, since we can use four in the game, the directional arrows could have been used for that
Of course, don't get me wrong here haha, the way they thought of it is not bad, but it limits the player when it comes to gameplay, that's what I'm trying to say.

I want them to make my suit change to whichever I want when I surge like for example I pick tobey Maguire suit but when I surge I turn into the symbiote version of Tobey's suit
All sounds awesome to me except for the suits. Only Peter’s hellfire gala suit looks interesting to me. I just hoped some more iconic suits that were omitted would find their way into the game. Comic/animated style suits, Peter B Parker, 2099 White, Big Time, Armour suits, etcetera are all great suits and it feels weird that some other suits are prioritised over these.

All I want is an anti venom style for the black suit so when I go into surge mode, it changes into the more concentrated anti venom look.
Hopefully we will be able to wear any suit in the scene where Peter gets stabbed instead of being forced to wear the advanced suit
They should add the feature to switch your parry from the symbiote back to the mechanical arms.
5:41 you already can change the time in the light settings
It's kinda wierd to do but do everthing on zero but keep an eye on the rotatiin scale (time of day)

I hope they add the spectacular Spider-Man in the NG+ update I mean it would make sense considering we’ve seen him in the 2nd spiderverse movie and that we’ve literally seen what looked like a portal that lead to that universe apart from the insomniac universe after you collect all the spiderbots, I would love to see that with the other new suits they said they were adding, it would be so cool to see the spectacular Spider-Man suit being added to the game, if they do that along with all the other features they said they were gonna add with the ability to change the time of day, it will literally be the best Spider-Man game ever, please insomniac make this happen 😫🙏

I was looking forwards to this update but now my hype has been brought down, I had hope that maybe insomniac could hopefully save the game for me, I platinumed it in 11 hours and since then I’ve had nothing to do in it, guess I won’t be able to play it
