Wandsworth Road Station (South London) on 16th November 1995
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip I find myself back at this interesting and busy location as the last location for this year. Many of the usual classes of locomotives are witnessed but with the addition of the Water Canon Push/Pull formation by a pair of Class 20s. The famous Battersea Power Station is superb looking against the dark Ominous sky, but surprisingly no outbursts of rain or thunder were seen or heard. Enough of the weather report, sit back once again (I do hope that I am not saturating you with all this Wandsworth Road material) and recall those bygone times. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.

Lots of arcing on 73 206's part with it's odd working. That and i could never get enough of The Class 20's idling. Pure EE.

Signalling fault on the P2 starter as every train stops first, obviously calling the signalman to proceed past a Red
