Poker is the most skilled game ever "Texas hold'em" should be an Olympic sport!! It's a Game of skill, not luck or chance.
They’re all good but that last one is priceless! I busted a tournament last month on a day like that and forced myself to not rebuy. I actually felt proud of being able to acknowledge that I just didn’t have it that day.

Yess I love Tuesday long video day! Thanks for smaller stakes content :D I think poker is fun for introverts for exactly that reason, it's something different lol. #2 most important imo especially if NL2 isn't coming together for you yet. Like develop intuition and whatnot but don't reinvent the wheel, the system works, you'll just waste time if you try to figure it all out yourself.. NL2 though I do slowplay some of them if they have a tendency to fold, or I smallbet-raise instead of the check-raise trap from a recent video. Get a nibble then reel them in hehe. I noticed if I bet too high some will fold but if I start with something ridiculously small they'll try to show me up or something until they're too far in and need to see my cards, which I'll happily show them. Winning all my sessions at NL2 now just getting my bankroll up a bit more, then onto NL5 🙃
sessions that start out with a lot of me folding where I should be folding have a way of turning into a good time…the perception of weakness is very EV+
You’ve given the best advice, follow it in my live $2-5 game & it works.
Roll with the bad beats, fish to my right, notes on plays ( tag- Lag, etc) and most importantly POSITION..

@@BlackRain79Poker ye ashame you also get days where you get consecutive bad beats. Changed tables 3 times but the first 7 big hands I got the fishies got lucky. Despited the betting went as explained by you in other videos. Got beaten on pocket Q's, A's, J's and JT, AK and QA. Trying not to go tilt today by it.
excellent tip , that nr.1 , used to do this instinctively without regret long time ago . Now , a little matured , my ego like a devil , pulls me back everytime when tryimg the “comeback” . It s just amazing how it really never works ! Very good quality info’s you always present , i resonate . 👏

I just wanted to say thank you for all the content you put out. I was a cash game player during the Golden Age of Poker. I was never a great player but made a little bit of side money. I tried to go pro and failed horribly, fast forward 13 Years to today, and I am crushing the micro stakes online all thanks to your videos and training. Thank you so much! Soon I will be going back to the casinos to start playing 1-2 NL I feel much better prepared.

As someone that has played hold'em since the 90's before anyone knew what it was - these videos are GOLD. I've already purchased his basic program and it's paid for itself in less than a month. I am going to bankroll his top tier teaching system to become even better. It took me years to learn Tip #1, and Nate is 100% correct. Another key I've learned to keep my play Profitable is that if I double up or triple up my starting stack, I leave the table & cash in. I'll go have a bite or chill for about an hour, then buy back in at my original stake. I've learned never to rebuy if I loose my original stake - I just call it a day and come back again fresh another time. YOU CAN'T WIN THEM ALL!!! And knowing when to leave a table is crucial to success.

I used a lot of these tips in my game tonight. Hit money for the first time in years at that table! My bet sizing worked to scare off a LOT of opponents on hands that I was pretty sure that I was beat. I will be studying these even more now! Thanks!

@@BlackRain79Poker Sadly, I finally got taken out when I had two pair (Js9s) on the flop and he put me all in. I went back and forth a lot and finally decided to go for it. He had pocket As to match the third on the table. The turn/river didn't save me. Oh well, next time!
9:00 I play for about 14 years now and I approve, dopamine goes low ,bad decisions occur, you lose any kind of momentum, might be an algo ,might be a natural bad day who knows.

Probably the best thing beginners shoild understand is the ecosystem of poker. Where does money come from? When your flush loses to a rivered boat, or you lose set over set, or your KK runs into AA etc...these are naturals. When u hit a full house vs flush you win when your opp does that you lose...this money keeps cycling in the system. Money in poker comes from hands where your opp loses money and you dont. Or it comes from spots where you make or save more than your opp if they were in your spot. Work on improving your folds and bets. If you understand this, you will move ahead.

What would you recommend in the scenario where you're the BB and it's checked/called around to you without anyone raising, but you don't have a hand that you would normally play? It's a "free" flop for you since you're BB, but you don't want to raise on junk. But you don't want to limp in. Thanks!
This is a good question. I am a beginner and wonder this as well.
Probably just raise, if everyone is limping then raise and weed out those trying their luck and decrease the chance of them winning, if people call again then on to the flop

The Hell days have always puzzled me. It's not so much about your not playing your best. It's about the universe is telling you its NOT your day. This has always fascinated me on why this happens. Any professional gambler will know when it's a Hell Day. However very few can listen to what the universe is telling you before you lose your money. You are 💯 that it's NOT going to get better on that day. The only way you will ever learn is the same result of losing your money over and over. You have to be connected to understand

Cuz bad players overplay those hands. It’s as simple as that. They should be played…but not overplayed. Ultimately as you go up in levels…if you aren’t playing AK you are not a winning player.

if they are a tight player, why would they play 68, 63, and all of the 2 pair combos on the board, only thing i see justified from a tight player is a set or A4, A5, A7, i’m calling that board with top top 100% of the time
Also I know that all of us like to play low pairs but I will say this if I have a pair of twos I'm going to push pretty darn hard on that pair of shoes right from the beginning and I know that doesn't make sense for a lot of people but I want to get as many people off of that table as I can because if someone lands Ace 4 in their hand and they decide to play and the flop has an ace or a for my hand is already beat. So I may play a pair of twos but I'm going to put a good amount in and bluff like it's a pair of aces right from the jump I may not go all in but it's going to be a hefty toll to stay on that table the least amount of players against that pair of twos the better my odds of taking that pot
id rather throw myself into a campfire, than sit around and wait to play 1 out of 30 hands. especially live

@Morn__, there is a reason they call pocket Jack's ace magnets. Hands that will call a raise like AK AQ will have you beat if an Ace king or queen comes and you don't hit your jack you are going to loose a lot of your chips.

Do you have proof you are still profitable? You keep showing the same picture of you in front of those monitors from years ago in every video. You never show recent games, hands breakdown, or show live playing like others do.
