Huawei GT3 Pro Overview

- Testing new tech can be challenging at times, Apple and Samsung lead the way now, but older companies like Huawei can get forgotten sometimes and this is one watch that should not get left behind.
Titanium build with ceramic back and sapphire glass on the front it matches the Apple Watch ultra and beats the Samsung.
It was the first smartwatch released last year that had titanium, sapphire and ceramic but got buried in the Samsung Watch 5 Pro hype!!!
14 days of battery life (I do test that theory) and a solid operating system makes the Huawei GT3 Pro a watch to check out.
In this video I will do an unboxing and overview of the functions and test battery life and usability.

I am on the second charge with the exact same setting as last time. It has been 7 days but this time the watch still has 44% battery left!!! I am in love with this watch, it is beating the competition hands down. 🥰

No, the screen is so responsive to movement it is hard to see a black screen. But I imaging you can knock off 2 days if you use it. I am on the 3rd charge now and after 5 days I am at 58% left. Battery life is really great. Thanks for watching.
I chose huawei watch gt3 pro with my iphone. I was surprised i can use also for messenger call and regular call. Im waiting the harmony 3.0 update. Great partner with my iphone.

I am looking forward to buying one, but i read that you can’t download music on the watch from iPhone, is that real?
You should be able to upload music via the Huawei Health app. I paired mine with iPhone 14 Pro, but I didn't upload any music, so I can not give a definitive answer. Hopefully, another viewer can answer your question. Thanks for watching, and I hope you find out soon.
@@galtrost5186 heres you can do. You can pair the watch to an android phone download the music u like then connect it to your iphone. The downloaded music will stay.

i use my gt3 pro with iphone 13.. no nfc, bo contactless payments, no gps.. what could be wrong?
Does gt3 pro have photo gallery? Im im high school and that is probably only thing i rly want to have on my watch to check what class do i have next and stuff like that. Its easier to just look on watch then to find it on phone.
You mean for looking at test answers 😏. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a photo album, but you can set a personalised photo as a watchface. Thanks for watching.

hello Paul thanks for the great video, you do not mention what phone you are using to pair up the hauwei watch 3 GT PRO. I HAVE samsung s24 ultra android . please will the gt3 pro work ok on samsung Andriod devices. and pair up ok. does the phone incomming calls work and be taken on the watch or texts or whats app messages please. is this done via bluetooth or E-SIM ( SIM CARD SUPPORT WITH UK MOBILE NETWORKS ) . DOES THE E- SIM CONNECTIVITY WORK . THANKS PAUL . AM going to purchase this watch i think looks very good quality .
Hi. The watch works with Android or IOS and I have used it with a Samsung Z Fold 3 and 4, Z Flip 3 and S23 Ultra, I have also used it with an iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro Max and even a 13 Mini. It connects through Bluetooth and does not require an e~sim. The watch works in the UK using any network or in any other country that has 4G and 5G connectivity. The quality is excellent, sapphire and titanium and things like sleep and walk tracking are above any other watch right now. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.
thank you kindly paul , promt and excellent info feedback, i was a bit confused as heard that vodaphone e- sim plans had been withdrawn by vodaphone with uk goverment concerned over chinese security issues . but as you say can connect via bluetooth to read messages, please can you use whatts app on this GT3 PRO view whatts app texts. but can NOT REPLY TO CALLS OR TEXTS DIRECTLY FROM THE WATCH. Please excuse my confusion, I recently tried the GT3 Pro and in the app it recorded my exercise and calories burned just for the exercise - but not my total calories for the day, i.e. it didn't include my basal rate and non-exercise related calories burned. For example, the Fitbit app shows every calorie burned throughout the day and night, regardless of whether it's exercise related or not? So I just look at my total calories burned, then I can work out weight loss diet requirements re calories.
Well the GT3 Pro calculates calories burnt through movement throughout the day. Garmin, Fitbit, Coros and other makes of fitness trackers, monitor breathing, spo2 and calculate total calories (as an estimate). Watches like Samsung, Apple, for example, can give a guesstimate of total calories burnt, through guessing what you are doing during the day. It depends which fitness tracker or smartwatch you use for the results you get. Thanks for watching and good luck with the weight loss.

ECG is available for all countries for some time ago
Well yes and no really. Yes it is available in all countries, but if you live in a far away country and then sign in in a different country, for example: Vietnam and Britain, then it will not let you use the ECG function. Instead it comes up with a note saying "different internet region". Probably a bug from when it was not in all countries to prevent people from switching. Thanks for watching.
I remember watching a video on the new update that showed ability to reply messages with keyboard but I'm not sure whether it's on watch 3 only or also on gt3
Maybe if you use them with Android devices, but on iOS there is no reply function yet. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
Does this model have esim?
Some countries do support esim, so my answer has to be maybe. It really depends if your country supports it. It does not have wifi and so you will need to carry your phone with you if esim is not supported. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.
