Hi everyone, ReacTea here! First of all, thanks for the overwhelming response to our video, we would have never imagined it to blow up like this. Second thing, what we'll be uploading in the next few days are pre-recorded videos, but we'll try our best to gather virtually asap and film another Angelina reaction. Little disclaimer: our channel was created with the purpose of reacting to a lot of different artists and discussing several topics, so please don't be disappointed if we won't dedicate most of our content to Angelina. No need to devote your channel to Angelina, but you all should check her out a bit more. She has around 140 or so cover songs and originals on CZcams. You might also want to check out a young rock band of 5 siblings, ranging in age from 13 up to 22, called "Liliac" (Lily-yak) They have 2 albums of originals now and some really great covers. Anyway, keep up the great reactions, and I'll tag along to see who you discover.

I have no idea how many times i have seen youtubers say "I believe she is perfect for this genre" or "this must be the genre that suits her voice best", for then listening to a very different genre and say "this is my new favourite by her" when she does something new(she actually does something new with every performance). The beauty of Angelina is that she aint locked in any genre, she does it all, she makes everything her own, and its a goooood thing :)

Also, we didn't say she fits ONE genre, but based on what we've heard we thought she would suit specific genres the best. @@reactea5067 I for one didn't think your co.ment misplaced. It just so happens you are correct, but only partially so. Her "best" genre is probably the jazz she grew up on but she can literally do it all with the possible exception of opera/metal which I have never seen her try yet. Who knows though?

Its always interesting to listen to new reactors to Angelina that always make a lot of conclusions that is so far from being right. For one is that she can only sing one genre. Dear reactors go and listen to her more than 130 covers and her own songs.

Finalmente una reazione in italiano. La ascolto ormai da più di 7 anni, da quando ha vinto "Got talent Norvegia". Lo ha vinto che aveva 8 anni. Ha reinterpretato brani datati degli anni 50 60 70... mantenendo lo stile di quegli anni, ma dando allo stesso tempo grazie alla sua voce particolare, un' interpretazione ed emozioni uniche che in pochi riescono a dare. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (125+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday , Nancy Sinatra , and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Etta James to Amy Winehouse (and many others in between) and do them all justice!
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40 piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come. Wait until you find out why she performs barefooted (if you didn't notice).

Per darvi solo un'idea della sua qualità di cantante, sappiate che a 12 anni è stata invitata a cantare al concerto per gli 85 anni di Quincy Jones a Londra dove ha eseguito Fly me to the moon con l'arrangiamento dello stesso Quincy. Qualora non lo sapeste Quincy Jones è colui che ha lanciato Michael Jackson. Potete ascoltare l'audio originale di quell'esecuzione su youtube, oltre che un video delle prove. La capacità di Angelina di emozionare quando canta è ineguagliabile. Le sue cover sono migliori dell'originale. L'ultima All I ask di Adele, publicata pochi giorni fa è un capolavoro assoluto.

Anything but go Younger first would be my advice to see how brilliant she was at age 7 and 8 before coming to current stuff. We need to get her known more here in Italy. 👍🙏
She's been adjusting her voice to songs, genres and artists at will. So I think the idea of her adjusting a song to her voice is a misunderstanding. It would simply be superflous and she usually goes to great pains to pay respects to the original.
BTW she has been working with great orchestras in the past, e.g. Fly me to the moon (Quiny Jones birthday), Its a mans world, Back to Black.

Angelina switches genres, and picked this sound for this song. In fact I hadn’t her sound like this before she did this song. If you want to hear what I mean listen to her arrangement of I Put a Spell On You, Black and White version. She is in full on jazz monster mode. It’s an amazing video and reactors are not really sure about what they are watching. I recommend it. A lot of Angelina fans just look for people reacting to this video for its shock value.
Perhaps you should hear more than one song to generalize about what styles suit her voice? She is one of the most versatile singers of all time. Bravi! Era ora che qualche reattore italiano decidesse di reagire a questa incredibile giovane artista norvegese che ha vinto a soli 8 anni il NGT. Considerate che quell'arrangiamento di BR lo ha realizzato lei da sola e la registrazione è stata fatta prima che compisse 14 anni. Ragazzi... altro che Lana del Ray, lei è una delle migliori cantanti jazz (e non solo) del momento, ascoltatela perché ne vale la pena. Angelina non è solo quello che avete ascoltato e visto in questa unica interpretazione, è molto di più e anche molto diversa, ma tutto ciò che fa è a un livello superlativo, ha interpretato più di 130 canzoni diverse, comprese cover, canzoni scritte per lei e le sue 5 canzoni originali.

I have subscribed and I liked your reaction. Below is a standard post I send to new Angels (Angelina fans). It is about 14 months old but accurate at that time. Angelina has recently signed with Republic Records on terms that are very favorable to Angelina. Republic has given her virtually unlimited artistic license and very lucrative financial terms. Republic is giving Angelina (Yes, to a young lady of barely 15 years) virtually complete control over her career. Angelina has turned down many offers including Disney Studios and built a huge internet following until she and her family decided she was old enough and mature enough to handle fame and fortune. I think she could have handled that by age 10. I may be a little selfish but I'm glad she didn't because we got to keep her to ourselves a bit longer. So happy you like Angelina. Believe me when I say you will be astounded, even gobsmacked her. She truly changed my life.

Angelina turned 14 on Jan 10, 2020. The 1st song Angelina ever sang was in her crib at 18 months of age. Mery is a jazz enthusiast and began introducing Angelina to jazz by age 2 or 3 through a friend of Mery's who owns a small vintage vinyl record shop in Oslo. There are videos of a very young Angelina going through jazz record bins, carrying a Frank Sinatra song book and singing/playing piano in the little shop. Her first recording session was at age 6. Her first two performances on NGT (she won) were Billie Holiday songs. She also sang a Sonny Bono song and George Gershwin’s “Summertime”.
Angelina has 125+ covers, 3 original songs and many interviews and thousands of reaction videos on CZcams as well as over one BILLION hits total on social media worldwide. Angelina always performs barefoot. When she was 6 she was visiting Tehran with Sara and Mery. One day while they were walking through the market place Angelina spotted a young girl about her age who was offering to weigh passersby on a bathroom scale in exchange for small coins. Angelina was allowed to go over and talk with the girl for quite a while and they had a strong connection. Angelina at one point asked the girl what her dream was. The girl wanted to be a doctor but her parents were dead so she and her 2 siblings had to work. Angelina told her to never give up on her dream. Angelina had noticed the girl was barefoot on a cold day and her feet were scarred and blistered. When the girl admired Angelina's beautiful shoes Angelina took them off and insisted her new friend take them. Her friend put them on marveling at their comfort and asked Angelina what was her dream. Angelina told her she wanted to be a superstar and sing for the whole world. The little girl said she would pray for Angelina every day and Angelina promised to always sing barefoot while there were still children without shoes. For 8 years now Angelina has been faithfully true to her promise. At age 8 she wrote a book, illustrated by her grandmother Mery about the encounter called "Mellom To Hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) making her Norway's youngest published author.
Angelina regularly performs for children's charities and donated much of her 80,000 euros prize for NGT to charity and helped raise over 21 million euros in Germany for children's charities.
Angelina always comports herself with grace, humility and respect for all including audience, fans and artists. Angelina is beautiful in every way God intended. Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, humble & a big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds” & she was/is the youngest to be published in Norway. I'll give you a link to her 1st released single by Republic records titled “Million Miles” She wrote this shortly after her paternal grandpa died in Nov. 2019, she was 13 & her maternal grandpa died in 2018. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in you heart, as it comes straight from mine”. Stargate producer singer/songwriter Dakota posted on her instagram regarding the collaboration with Angie, said “This girls talent is freakin insane.” Angie has arranged over 135 covers & written 5 songs & had 2 written for her & she’s mastered over 10 genre’s already.
