- Sorry for slagging off Simon a little; just never really liked him or the show tbh. But he's admired by Angelina and this meant a lot to her, so screw my opinion, it's not relevant here.

Nick, don't be sorry mate, I can't stand him or anything to do with talent shows. I do however love everything Angelina Jordan has ever done and i have done for four years. AJ applied for "that Simon show" when she was three but they told her she had to be at least 7 years old to compete.
And then she won it as you know. Knowing that made it much more palatable for me to watch this more than 100 times since.

Indeed. They also pinned her performance on their socials and WOWed her there, saying "Wow, what a rendition!" Queen is known for being very protective about their material, particularly after Freddie died, so this was indeed praise of the very highest order ♥♥♥♥♥

Simon, or not, AJ stated that this appearance changed her life. The band Queen was so impressed with her version that they allowed her to Copyright her version of Bohemian Rhapsody.

First, and foremost; Angelina was not on that show to win. This was quite simply to promote and expose the US public to this prodigy that comes along maybe once in a generation. To win, AJ’s family would have had to sign a contract with Simon, and he would have been in control of her future. Her family would not allow that to happen. It was not question of money offered because AJ was already worth 2 to 3 million at the age of 13, and her family are very wealthy. I am sure America’s Got Talent was paid well by her production company Stargate, the hitmaking duo (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sam Smith). David Foster tried to sign her in the past after she won Norway's Got Talent, but the family did not like the contract. She is like nothing we have ever experienced.

Absolutely phenomenal performance from our musical genius, Queen were so impressed with Angelina’s arrangement of their classic song Queen gave Angelina the copyright to this arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody,there are theories why Angelina didn’t win this show as Angelina’s family made it clear that Angelina will not be signing with Cowell,and Angelina signed with Republic records who really appreciate her phenomenal talent and dedication to her music, Republic Records gave Angelina her own studio, it seems like Republic Records allows Angelina the freedom to flourish in her own way, and Angelina’s family had conditions before they signed, one of the conditions was that Angelina completed her education,Angelina did receive the Golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum and progressed to the final of AGT champions, also this performance has well over 100 million views, great reaction thanks 🙏

Three year old Angelina was watching Simon on the X Factor and turns to her mother and says that she wants to go on a show like that and sing for that man. Then ten years later Angelina fulfills that goal. Angelina was a true winner that night she gave us this masterpiece of a performance.

Considering Angelina was 13 years old, creating a genius arrangement to one of the most beloved songs on Earth, then delivering a beautiful, highly emotional performance on one of the world's biggest stages, is mind-blowing.
When Angelina was 3 she told her mom “I want to go on that Simon show”. Not sure which show he was on at the time but it really was a dream of hers to sing for him.
You are right about her runs. She doesn’t always use them but when does they are always tasteful, not just to show off. She doesn’t do a lot of belts either but she can and when she does it’s to help tell the story.
There are many very popular singers who are all about belts and runs and to me it gets a little tiresome

Angelina did win a Golden Buzzer for this performance from Heidi Klum, but she wisely decided to not sign a long term contract with Simon Cowell. A year later she did sign a favorable contract with Republic that allowed her to finish her education and keep her artistic independence. There she has worked with Rob Christie and she has profited from this relationship, working with some of the best people in the music industry. Hats off to her family who have given much to both nuture her dreams and shield her from many of the pitfalls that could bring her down. Her many performances with Rob Christie have been artistic masterpieces culminating in her magnificent Las Vegas debut concert on Feb 29th, 2024. The future is bright for Angelina and more importantly she is happy with her friends and family and the growing fan base who admire her as an artist and a human being.❤

As much as I don’t particularly care what Simon thinks, Angelina doesn’t know actually how good she is. She has known of him since she was 3, and whats to know what he thinks. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California is Angelina's A&R person, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, three years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Simon and his disciples had been trying to get her on the show for several years at that time 🙂 Before accepting she made it absolutely clear that she wasn't interested in any contract with Simon if she indeed did win the show. The 5 top finalists all get a contract with him, so rather conveniently she was awarded 6th place. That way all parties got what they really wanted. I have read a lot of comments saying that Angelina was the REAL winner of the show though. This performance earned her the Golden Buzzer by Heidi Klum, and propelled her directly to the finals. Now that you have checked out THIS one, maybe you should react to her other one as well, performing "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" by Sir Elton John. It's another banger 😉

Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrengement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) The way you felt about the song by the barefoot Prince. Is exactly the way the members of Queen felt. They reached out to the barefoot princess and said it was the best rendition I’ve ever heard in their life and released the copyrights to her. So that tells you something, when queen releases the copyrights to the barefoot princess. She is absolutely an angel sent from heaven.

It's sort of a cover, but sort of isn't: The author of the song had hoped that Angelina would buy the rights, and in order to make that decision, Angelina recorded a "demo" at a recording studio. But her mother chose not to buy the rights, so the author of the song recorded and released the song as an original. At the time, no one knew that one of the sound engineers at the recording studio made and kept a copy of the recording of Angelina's demo, which he later released on the internet, which someone else made into a fan video. Once you've heard it, you'll understand why all that happened. NOTE: Both Angelina, and the author of the song, have both stated that they are OK with the fan-made video of Angelina's performance of the song being on CZcams, and have never filed a copyright complaint against anyone for publishing it or reacting to it.

Nick, no matter how many times you play this video the affect it has on you will never lessen. Our hearts have memories and as soon as Angelina starts to sing your heart puts you on emotional alert. It cannot resist the love in her voice which is recognizable within, what, 5 seconds? Will there be a time when she wears off on you? No!

Angelina didn't win the show because didn't accept to sing in the term that the show request. Her performances has been banned in the show web page.
Her family wanted to protect her during childhood from the industry. The year next she signed with Republic Records that allow her to develop and grow up free, but with support. Several original, videos and cover has been produced with they, but at low scale. The biggest production was summer last year (17yo) that she released the EP "Old enough" (the title is full meaning). Before Christmas she released another EP "Driving home for Christmas".
You might want to watch the fourth judge Heidi Klum press the golden buzzer and catch Angelina and her family's reactions. The judges go up on stage and Heidi hugs her and tells her not to cry. Then Simon says that he doesn't think she knows how good she is. This video starts with the judges comments. There are two other videos in the series.
