Here’s some facts to help guide you on Batman:
He’s always blamed himself for his parents death and part of the reason of why he became Batman is because he promised them he would avenge their deaths by dedicating his life to protecting the city no matter what it cost him. In this case, it cost him happiness because he purposely reminds himself of the pain he feels from their deaths and uses that against the criminals he faces and he really doesn’t allow himself to be truly happy. In fact, one of the animated movies showed him finding a woman and falling in love but he felt so conflicted about it because he was about to become Batman but knew he couldn’t if he chose to be with the one he loves and he went to his parents grave and started crying and begging them to tell him it’s okay to be happy because he feels like his parents would want him to avenge their deaths no matter the cost when we know that isn’t the case. And referring to this trilogy, Nolan took a more realistic approach to the character to where it’s still comic accurate but made it more grounded and more possible if someone were to try this in real life but it still works and stays true to who Batman is. For The Dark Knight, Rachel is played by a new actress just FYI and you’ll be left in amazement by the joker

Nolan's movies stray heavily from the comic books when it comes to both characters and the setting. His movies explore themes and concepts and social commentary more than they try to be accurate depictions.

    • @AspieMediaBobby

@@tehdipstick The Nolan Films are mainly based on "Year One","Year Two","The Man Who Falls","The Long Halloween","Detective Comics Number 27"(The first appearance of Batman(Then called "The Bat-Man" hence Crane referring to him that way in the Arkham warehouse fight scene and Commissioner Gordon),"Batman #1"(The first appearance of The Joker and Catwoman then simply called "The Cat"),"No Man`s Land","The Killing Joke","Joker`s Five-Way Revenge","Dark Knight Returns"(Which the Tumbler`s design was based on the more tanklike Batmobile of that Graphic Novel reflecting Batman viewing himself as "A soldier against crime and corruption")"Knightfall",the training scenes were from various comics as well as the class war elements reflecting "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens as well as Mr. Nolan`s questionable view of the Occupy Movement which isn`t surprising considering his equally questionable take on public surveillance in the name of counterterrorism during the Iraq War and using a "noble lie" to enforce a false peace and order in the previous film(Totally not problematic historically, that notion!) , and "Bane of the Demon".

Wow, someone completely new to this Batman universe. Since his comic book debut in 1939, Bruce Wayne/Batman has gone through different variations in media depending on the time period, but I always enjoy the darker and more grittier interpretations like this one. Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is amazing, so I can’t wait for you to see the next two films. I also love Batman (1989) directed by Tim Burton. It stars Michael Keaton as Batman, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. That’s a great film too, and I would definitely recommend that as well.

They even did a Spider Man adventure in every episode. Also the “I’m Batman” phrase was made popular by the 1989 movie staring Michael Keaton, which is a masterpiece in its own right.

For the first time I just noticed upon meeting Ras Al Guhl, Bruce's face is all lit on the side opposite Ras and the shadowed side of his face is towards Ras like from now on he's either on a destructive path or Batman.

A new Batman movie is coming out 3 months from now and they released 2 trailers for it so far. Would be nice to see someone new to the Batman Mythos react to it. But only after you watched the remaining 2 movies in this trilogy.

The Dark Knight Trilogy is the best Batman franchise. Heath Ledger’s performance in the Dark Knight is the best Joker performance ever, and also considered one of the best acting performances of all time period. Heath Ledger won the oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance. The best Batman performance is still the original film Batman, Michael Keaton in the 1989 Batman.

You’ve definitely started your Batman obsession in the right place. The Christopher Nolan trilogy is widely considered to be the Gold Standard. But be aware that Batman lore extends back decades.
It all started with DC comics. There was also a super campy television series back in the ‘60’s. There have been animated series. There have been graphic novels. And of course dozens of movies. In fact a new one is coming out very soon with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.
Absolutely finish the Nolan trilogy. Just be aware there is a whole rabbit hole of material to explore depending on how much of a fan girl you ultimately become.

Alfed is the hero of this movie." Ironically enough, an British army officer's orderly is called a batman. Alfred is to Bruce is what Sam Gamgee is to Frodo Baggins. And Sam Gamgee *is* the ideal of a batman.

Watch Michael Keatons Batman and Batman Returns..also, there's a great animated movie called Batman:Mask of the Phantasm.
Before Begins, Bale was was basically skin n bones for a role he played in Machinist..he had to gain like 50 to 60 lbs of weight n muscle for Batman pretty quickly.
Bales breakout role though is American Psycho..a must watch.
