There is an entire lore to the Operation Monster Force and it's really interesting. Dracula was freed from his tomb by Declan Van Helsing to help fight off the villain, the Forgotten King (the guy in white), who isn't a mummy. Dracula has undead who have been decked out in gear to join the fight. It's dope. I'm all in. I preordered an entire set plus 5 more of each builder.

Exactly. No offense to this guy, but he’s really speaking from a place of ignorance, not having done his due diligence with research, and it really makes him look ignorant.

that's actually true! I'm totally ignorant on this toy line. But the jokes on them because I didn't buy their toys. But they did get (some) free marketing out of my video. Maybe someone saw their toys, got excited and pre-ordered them. Lets hope. ~m

The Batmobile you showed was made by Spinmaster.
They co-license the DC action figures brands with McFarlane.
Playmates had the DC license once a very looong time ago.
You're right about pricing tho. Its getting out of hand.
People have just heard the myth about insane tooling cost from these multi-national corporations for so long, they now believe it.
Something I took away from your appraisal of all these lines, you don't get the characters and their purpose in their individual lores.
Read the write ups first and then objectively review or assess the products.
I do agree that the military architypes vs military CHARACTERS trope is getting super old.
We need more emphasis on characters over popular architypes alone.

I was wrong, do not back that car. These guys are doing it all backwards and failure is 100% assured.

I mean this with nothing but love
    BUT
You’re completely ignorant of how toy manufacturing works if you think that these 1:12 vehicles can be made “cheap.” If you want cheap crap, then that’s fine, BUT clearly these toy companies don’t want to sell cheap crap, and so must raise their prices to make sure the customer doesn’t get ripped off.

Ahoy Mr X. It might sound like I don't understand supply side pricing like cost of R&D, the injection molds, set up, deco paints, assembly, packaging, storage, shipping, plus all the other costs like admin, sales and marketing. But that's all anyone talks about cuz they heard about it on a spector creative channel. What ppl don't talk about is demand side pricing: what are people willing to pay. I have a follow up video which addresses production of 1/12 vehicles including a 3d printed 1/12 military vehicle made with $60 worth of resin. czcams.com/video/-l3Z7IbrLco/video.html I appreciate the comment and discussion. thank you for keeping me honest. ~mark

@@ActionFigureAtorium I mean no disrespect, but this is what drives prices for future releases. When companies start seeing these scaled vehicles selling for 150, 200, 250,300....they all will.
These toy companies making this scam, see that 5,000 backers Engine of Vengence had...they are drooling. Like vultures picking the bones of a CARcus.
