Big Bad Toy Store and Fresh Monkey Fiction / FMF have teamed up to bring us a 6" or 1/12 line of military and monster figures called Operation Monster Force. But one of their reveals gives us some head swap options to characters from the G. I. Joe A Real American Hero line of toys. Namely General Flagg II who the USS Flagg was named after and the original GI Joe himself who was based on the 12" line, General Joe Colton. Have a look!

Not necessarily G.I. Joe related but I feel the white-haired head could be a stand-in for Hulk's/Marvel's Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross

That first of the alternate head sculpts also favors General Thunderbolt Ross, Bruce Banner's Antagonist aka The Red Hulk.:) 2nd one also could be Antonio Banderas as well if someone wanted too.:) Awesome video, I was thinking the same thing about all of these. Nice comic run dives for the last 2 alternate head sculpts--didn't see the one about Flagg.:) Take care Champ keep doing your run-ins!

It's cool to see a line that really gives you more bang for your buck.
That they give a nod to Joe Classified collectors is awesome. To me the white haired head reminds me of Gen. Thunderbolt Ross from Marvel's Hulk comics. It's fantastic to have options.

The old head looks like General Ross from The Hulk.
And African American general figure 💯💯💯💯 definitely won't be switching hands or heads out with that one. About damn time ❤️
That 'Joe Colton' head does have that flocked look of the classic hair. If the price point weren't so high (and I prefer smaller scale) I'd custom the s**t out of these, although he isn't chunky enough for my favorite, Gen. Hollingsworth. (Also not chunky enough for Gen. "Iron-Butt" Austin.) But I'd repaint one in black clothes for Adm. Dyson, one in brown with an eyepatch for Gen. Ryan, and I'd have to simulate a ripped-off sleeve for dress green Hawk Abernathy. [PIT-FALL issue of GI JOE comics, for all who don't know the references.] But, then, of course, I'd have to troop-build a bunch of B.A.T.s and hack those up, so, $$$$$ , and who has that kind of scratch? (Scale, of course, which is why I was able to do that in 4", when Kay-Bee was closing! 😁)
There is lots of O-Ring stuff but not a lot of 1:12 stuff. There is Monster Force, F.I.S.T and Valaverse so far. It would be nice if some of the O-Ring companies did some 1:12 stuff. Delta-17 would be a good 1:12 line.

Come to think of it, why didn't they give Willis a scar in Retaliation? It would've been super easy and a nice not to the fans.

Hi I preordered this guy just but now had a question in the bottom picture with the trigger finger hands what are those 4 pieces above the 4 trigger finger hands ?
You wont have to cover the name on his chest up...right next to the figure you can see there is an extra pocket to swap out and it has a blank name plate.

I pre-ordered 4 but that second quarter 2025 release date sucks that's just too damn far away to get excited about but I pre-ordered anyway🤷🏼♂️
