I applied Gyeon ONE about 6 weeks ago and thought the whole package from start to finish was top draw awesome. From the cool packaging, instructions, ease of application and how crazy hydrophobic it is I think it’s one of the best detailing products out right now.
I’ve gone full Gyeon and maintain it with WetCoat, Bathe+ and Ceramic detailer and love to candy red depth it’s given to the paintwork. Gyeon really seem to understand the market now like no other. They realise 99.9% of people don’t have a massive, perfectly lit, temp controlled perfect studio to do it in…the EVO range is awesome👌

Really good video wished I had found it sooner picked up a few tips. Last week having spent 2days decontaminating and polishing my wife's Polar White A Class Mercedes AMG line, I applied a coat of the new Mohs Evo. It was my first step into ceramic coating and I was amazed at the ease of application and removal. Particularly impressed with the product as I don't have a garage and with the recent dry weather was able to apply it and leave for 12 hours without getting the vehicle wet. I used the 50 mil bottle and applied to the trim, windows and wheels and was left with a small amount. The result is amazing the gloss is fantastic better than I expected. I topped it with Gyeon Can Coat Evo after an hour. Its only been a week so I have yet t give it a wash but it still looks fantastic. My wife was so impressed.

Nice work Jon. Used Mohs evo last saturday. It replaced a 2,5 year old cquk3.0 coating. Applying the Mohs was a breeze! Very easy to buff. The 30ml bottle was just enough for one layer. The applicator soaked up a lot of coating and you need to apply quite a bit to see is ‘flash’ properly. With the cquk I used 3/4 bottle (30ml) for 2 layers.
I didn’t see you wash the car with a degreaser (Gyeon recommends dishwashing soap) after polishing as an extra step. I called out to my detailing shop and they recommended an extra wash as well. After the extra wash you need to wipe the paint down with prep as well. I found the extra was maybe a little overkill but i wanted to degrease as thoroughly as possible.

Great video, and interesting that even the most aggressive polishing didn’t leave a perfect finish. But if it was my car, I wouldn’t want a rushed job to apply a long term coating - I think I’d wait till I could spare 2 days and allow max curing time before driving. Worry about airborne contaminants being forced onto the car “and sticking” to the paint when driving.
