How To: Samsung CookTop Installation Model: NA36K7750TS/AA

This video is about the Samsung CookTop Installation.
I am going to show you step by step how to install the Samsung Cooktop Model NA36K7750TS/AA. The cooktop is a stainless steel silver color. You need to make sure the installation of the gas pressure regulator is properly installed. It also functions as a size adapter ideal for gas inlines from 1/4' to 1/2".
In this video, I did not show you how to do conversion from natural gas to LP (propane). Please consult the installation manual for more detailed instructions.

Hello Alan! What is the depth of your counter? I see comments about the bluetooth wifi requiring more depth space and wondering if I can install if I have 23" counter? Also, my gas line is on the left, not the right.... is that a problem?

Mine is 24". You can use a flex gas line to hook up the stove to the gas supply.

Is necesary the gas pressure regulator ? Can just connect using 3/8"-1/2" connector?

You do need the regulator for safety. Otherwise, you will risk yourself in the unpredictable flow of gas into your stove.

My faceplate under the knobs was damaged and needs to replaced. How do you remove it?

Can one use a pull up down draft vent with this cooktop?

I think so. However, it depends on the spacing.

Looks like there is something sticking out along the rear edge. It could be an issue if the pull up downdraft is the same width (36") as the cooktop.

Isn't it more straightforward to apply foam tape along the edge from the under side of the cooktop?

The edges of the front and back of the cooktop are not on the same height of the edges of the left and right. Therefore, I prefer to put the tape on the opening of the countertop.

Hi thanks for the install video. I been researching everywhere but couldn’t find the differences between the regular model & chef collection model. Is it just the finishes? Btw how do you like the cooktop after using it?

Yes. This is only the difference on the finish. I love this cooktop a lot because it is so powerful. It is also easy to clean
