Barcelona’s new president Joan Laporta has pledged to restore the reputation of La Masia and make it “the backbone of the club's values”.
So how could he do that? How big is the job he has? How will he do it with the current cohort of Barcelona first-team players?

Can you do an in depth video explaining why most no.9s have been underperforming at Chelsea in the last 2 decades. It has mostly been wingers and midfielders who have excelled at Chelsea. For example Morata, Falcao, Torres, Higuain, Sidwell, Kezman, Bouhlarouz and maybe Timo Wenner have underperformed
or how Chelsea's transfer ban helped create a strong young squad with great potential. Thanks in advance.
Love these videos @Tifo Football. Can you do a video explaining how away teams travel, schedule, training, etc. With the number of games in each season, it’s hard to comprehend the toll it’s takes for teams to stay fresh playing every 2-3 days. That’ll give perspective to viewers how difficult it is for EPL teams, and why their managers argue against the high number of games in a season. Thanks!
Let's not forget samuel eto'o
Only player in history to win the treble ( cup league champions league) back to back with 2 different clubs in 2 different positions. And I think the only player to play a key role in a Guardiola system and a mourinho system
That's very specific....
Jeremie Boga should be called up by England he’s still eligible
Ever heard of Xabi Alonso.

Clarence Seedorf only player to win 3 champions league titles. Each from 3 different teams: Ajax, Milan and Real Madrid.
A lot of players have won it 3 times.
And Seedorf has 4 titles, won 2 with Milan.

You cannot mention champions league records without mentioning Seedorf. The only player to win it with three different teams.

@@HADEZFIRE147 What about Missi(not pessi as he misses penalties too)? Missi literally can't win any champions league without Ronaldinho or Xavi & Iniesta or Neymar and Suarez? Missi literally needs all the best players of that time (except Ronaldo) to play alongside him to win the champions league. While Ronaldo too had brilliant teammates, he never had the best players playing alongside him unlike Missi.
Why tf do people say penaldo and pessi? It is so unoriginal and untrue
Well said...
Cant mention the champions league without mentioning the great HAMES "RIBENA" MILNER
Arsenal not conceding a goal throughout the entire knockout stages for the 2005/06 run to the final only to lose it it in the last 15 minutes of the final makes the loss to Barcelona so heartbreaking.
And somehow so typically Arsenal
@@razhidiz Agreed man. I remember watching with my dad when I was 10. So so heartbreaking.
@King Darwin yeah, I remember Thierry Henry having quite a few chances before the red card and even had that one-on-one at 1-0 to Arsenal. Henry said his legs were too tired after he had to do so much defending. Van Bronckhorst told Arsene Wenger a few years later that if Arsenal had gone 2-0 up that Barcelona would have given up. It's just sad. It was the last year at Highbury, Thierry Henry's last proper year, and the last year for so many other players like Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole.
You lot last it because of the ref and the so called great Henry,That overrated French guy missed like 4 one on one chances.
I feel you 💔
1:51 : there is a mistake, it was 45 years by Inter Milan between 1965 and 2010

Tifo really dropped the ball
Need a video about that Villa side that won the European Cup
I’m so glad that James Milner is now mentioned amongst such iconic players
Everybody disliked that.
James Milner the🐐. Best young talent in world football😁
The man, the myth, the legend. Not a winger, not a playmaker, but still holds the assist record. big respect

Agreed. I think he is the most capped player for England U23
Milner is such an underrated baller, also in the PL top 10 assisters of all time
James Milner is such a pro and so selfless on the pitch.
If we had a couple James Milners in México, we'd surely reach the WC quarterfinals that we seem to be obsessed over.
Why is your comment not about Jeremie Boga being eligible for England
As an Arsenal fan I knew I was going to hear about Lehmann (5:12) and damn that 2006 final still hurts me.

Ah yes, These 5 clubs were allowed to keep the original UCL/European Cup trophy.
Chelsea were both European Champions and Europa League Winners for a week in 2013 when they lifted the Europa Leage and the Champions League final was a week later. Idk if this is something exclusive to Chelsea but still pretty interesting to point out

Uefa Cup Winner's Cup ,
Uefa Super Cup ,
Intercontinental Cup ,
Fifa World Cup .
Excellent statistics!
Almost in half of the Champions League seasons (30 of 66) Real Madrid has reached the semifinals. That's what I call continuity and resilience.
Great video
Would you make a video about 2010-13 Borussia Dortmund? I missed out on German football back then and want to see how they played and how eventually their players started leavening for Bayern
Hey Tifo, really interested in knowing Ralf Hassehuttl's philosophy at Southampton&what does Arteta need to get success at Arsenal, how can strikerless setup work at Arsenal
Some records i remember
-Juventus is the only team to lose 5 UCL finals
-Messi's 5 goals in 1 single game (Bayern Leverkusen quarterfinals)
-Cristiano scored 17 goals in 1 edition (2013-14)
-Etoo won 2 trebles in a row in 2 different teams
And what about Clarence Seedorf the only player to have won the UEFA Champions League with three different teams - Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan
Great channel. Another great but underrated channel is balón - English. I recommend it for anyone who likes football content.
I wish you can partner with Pro Evo Soccer and use the pennants you use when showing teams instead of creating makeshift football crests. I love how they look.
I know it was in the 60's but scoring 4 goals in a final

Jamez Milnerinho, Champions League assist record holder
The Harry Kane stat sounded wrong. Not youngest player to 20 goals but the least matches. Harry Kane was probably on loan at Millwall when he was Haaland's current age.
England hold the record for most consecutive final wins from late 70s to early 80s. A record six times, followed by Spain's 5 (2 times)
I miss Reims, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Leverkusen being competitive in UCL
I miss AC Milan. It's quite possible they won't be there next year either even after leading their league for about half of its duration
Agree. Also teams like Steua Bucaresti, Belgrade's Red Star, Dinamo Zagreb, Werder Bremen, Hamburg, PSV or Feyenoord.
@@HectorTWE its possible, they gonna play this year
things that i find interesting about champions league:
1. Liverpool and Juventus has the same finals appearances (9) but Liverpool has won 3 times more (6) than Juventus (2)
2. The last time Real Madrid lost a final was against Liverpool in 1981, since then they have been in the final 7 times, winning all of them
3. Bayern has never played against the same team in the final (11 different teams), while Real Madrid has repeat at least 4 finals (with 12 different teams)

What about Pato for Milan against Barcelona?
Ok, that was 24 seconds, but honorable mention
Inter went 45 years between titles. 1965 to 2010
I remember when Raúl was the top scorer of the champions, now he is 5th.
It can almost be used as "the last time I was this early, Raul was Champions League Top Scorer. "
Make a video on Ruben Amorim's Sporting Lisbon.
Hello Tifo, please make a video about why Ben Davies still not debut and given game time by Liverpool (Klopp). It so mysterious..
I think the Haaland 'surpassing Harry Kane' one is a slight mistake.
The video said "youngest player to 20 goals", and he did set that record by surpassing Mbappe.
At the same time, he reached 20 goals in the fewest games, surpassing Harry Kane on *that* record.
Benzema is also a powerhouse.
At 0:35 the map shows East Germany not Saarbrucken
Roy Makaay is the only Dutchman who was topscorer of La Liga and won La Primera Division without being in Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico, Sevilla, Valencia but with DEPORTIVO and Roy MAKAAY is also is the fastest goalscorer in the Champions League at only 5-6 seconds with Bayern München against Real Madrid.
I’m so early I can’t sleep
Could you make a video about Italian side AC Monza?
You guys must have hated making this video and talk about Real Madrid so much.
Most successful club in the competition idiot
Inter milan also won 2 consecutive european cups 1964 & 1965 🧐 and the record for the biggest gap is 45 years also for inter milan, from 1965 till 2010, the heck 🤦🏻♂️
Ottmar Hitzfeld, only manager to win two Champions Leagues with two different clubs from the same country, Germany, with Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München.
Halaand surpassed Mbappe* to youngest to 20 goals(20 years old vs almost 22) The Harry Kane stat you’re referring to is the fewest games* to 20 goals(Halaands 14 vs Kane’s 24)
Velibor Vasović was first to captain two different teams in the final (Partizan in 1966. and Ajax in the '70-s)
Miodrag Belodedić was first to win European Cup with two different teams (Steaua in '86 and Crvena Zvezda in '91)
Also, first game to be played was Sporting vs. Partizan on Septembar 4th 1955, and first season top scorer was Miloš Milutinović of Partizan with 8 goals.
make underrated frontmen this season
I really enjoyed this video. Great fun facts from a neutral perspective
Do the same thing for the Uefa Cup/Europa League
Nice.
But are they any better than Ibrahim Sangare?
I didn't know Sarlaand existed until this video. Sincere question: I know Zidane has done it, but who was the first person to win the European Cup/Champions League as both a player and manager?
Edit: In keeping with the theme of Tifo's video today, the answer to my question is Miguel Muñoz, who after winning with Real, managed them to glory in '60 and '66.
Maybe cryuff
“Seven men have won the tournament both as a player and as a manager, namely Miguel Muñoz, Giovanni Trapattoni, Johan Cruyff, Carlo Ancelotti, Frank Rijkaard, Pep Guardiola and Zinedine Zidane.” - Wiki.
First one is Miguel Munoz.

1:48 It's actually inter Milan's 45 year Gap between their 2nd and 3rd titles, in 1965 and 2010
Inter also won two european cups in a row, in 1964 & 1965
Tifo.... Where is my "It's a Deal" song??
I think you guys mixed up two things when you said "Erling Braut Håland became the youngest player to score 20 goals in the UEFA Champions League, surpassing Harry Kane".
Erling Håland surpassed Harry Kane's record of being the FASTEST player to score 20 UCL goals. Kane did it in 24, Håland did it in 14.
Erling Håland technically surpassed Kylian Mbappé's record of being the YOUNGEST player to score 20 UCL goals, though it is more accurate to frame it as saying that he surpassed Mbappé's record of scoring the most UCL goals before his 21st birthday. Mbappé had scored his 20th and 21st goals on 9 December 2020, 11 days before he turned 22. Håland scored his 19th and 20th goals on 9 March 2021, 3 and a half months before he turns 21 (on 21 July 2021).
Did anyone notice how the best goals tally is so much bigger than the best assist tally: 134 vs only 42. I know some goals come from free-kicks, penalties, or own goals, but can't be such a big percentage. Could there be a video on this topic.
amazing
Kinda feels weird that European Super League started way ago in 1955. But it only lacked Ibrahim Sangare
Jeremie Boga should be called up by England he’s still eligible
Wait didn't Inter wont it back to back in 1964 and 1965
England have the most different number of winners with 5, and the most different number to play in the final with 9. They also hold the record for the longest win streak in the European cup/ champions league (7) and the most number of games won in a single European cup/ champions league campaign (11).
5:08 ahh arsenal
Inter won 2 in a row too tho. And they probably have the longest waiting period between 2 tittles from the 60s to 2010 when they won their third
