I just discovered tinned mutton-so good! But where can you buy it for a reasonable price?
I usually get mine at the Fijian Indian stores. They used to be 4.99 a can prepandemic but now we pay 9.99 USD or more for it!
@@SBLtasteoffiji I am up in Far NorCal. Found it at a small Asian market (they have a little bit of everything) for $12. I had to try it-so good! My sis is in San Diego (where we are from) looking everywhere for it but has had no luck at all, and you would think she'd be able to find it, there are so many good markets there. I hope the prices come down-this is going in my regular cooking rotation. Thanks for the response and for the recipe!
bcuz tin mutton is fatty. use margarine to start.. or olive oil
That really depends on personal preferences. Some view margarine as highly processed and harmful, while others find it acceptable. Olive oil is also a good option, though not ideal for frying due to its lower heat tolerance. Considering tin mutton is already a bit indulgent, having a bit of extra fat, regardless of its source, doesn't seem like a major concern.
