Husqvarna M40 - Just Because it's Cold...

- Well it's a couple days until Christmas here, and it's bitterly cold, so I figured I would shoot my "coldest" gun. A modified clone of the Finnish Lahti L35, this Husqvarna M40 was a Danish contract police pistol, and it is one of the few old guns I own that came with a full holster and kit! As for the cold part, this design has big and bulky controls easily manipulated with gloved hands, and an accelerator lever that gives the bolt an extra punch in case there is any ice built up in the action. At -7 degrees F, it certainly ran better than I did. So enjoy and have a Merry Christmas.. or a Happy New... Day... if you are living in the future...

Love the music with the presentation!
I love your videos keep going !
best gun
It’s like if the p38 wasn’t an abomination and I love it
"Did you hear that? That was the sound of my Walther. Pointed right at your testicles."
Also this gun is not as durable as the original sidearm is was copied from, the Lahti L-35.
Very cool, how much did this set you back?
Managed to find one for under $1000 which I thought to be a pretty good deal.
@@judgeroybean6231 Yeah buddy. I'm looking for one and like everything I wish I picked one up for a $1000

@@josephredhawk1125 ah... no relation that I am aware of.
How reliable М40 with HP, hollow point? Any issues?
I have not tried it with hollow point ammo, so I couldnt say.
@@judgeroybean6231 If you do, please let me know.
@@veritasaequitas9252 as long its not m/39B hp it should work fine (9mm m/39B causes bolt fractures on the M40 pistols)
