- Kawai's new VPC-1 is a controller designed specifically for high-end software grand piano instruments. Kawai has worked with leading developers to create custom touch response curves, and between that and the grand piano action inside, the finger-to-music connection is transcendent. Editor Stephen Fortner gives us the rundown.

hey, I didn't know Alex Jones was into playing the piano :)
Niether did I, LOL.
I really love that clean look, I dont really care for onboard sounds as Im looking for a studio piano to record with. what a great choice suggestion
So you have no brain. They don’t update their hardware for 8 years (and not planning to).
how can I record this playing on my pc?
On my stagepiano I record on the piano itself while playing and then transfer the recording afterwards to my pc. But it seems like this piano ca't record on itself. So how should I connect this masterkeyboard to my computer and which software should I use to record it ? I hope you can help me :) Thank you for the information!
Kraft Music have it listed at $1849, expected to ship at the end of February.
Anybody know where I can purchase an action mechanism demo device that he is holding in his hand? RM3 Grand from Kawaii, or similar device from some other reputable brand. Does any company have a half-octave one instead of just 3 keys models?
