    I saw her play at the Super Billiard Expo some years ago. She is tough. She went hill hill with the guy that either won the tournament or came in second. I forget which because I wasn't there for the final day. She was strong, she can play at the pro level. Amazing to me she started playing at the age of 29.

    Jennifer Barretta is pure quality. Such a lovely player
    BUT, you can't let them get away from the questions bredren. She knows what a pre-shot routine is. Make them demonstrate it! Put them on the spot. And she should have banked that ball and shot that back cut too. :)
    And I'm not a fan of trick shots, but hers was fun. Great video!

    I hate exactly THAT shot too! It`s like a drop kick in soccer. You just don`t "feel" where the ball is going to end. To me, it`s more hope than skills. 😅

    • @johnholmstrom4212
      @johnholmstrom4212 Před 10 měsíci

      Same, I hate that shot. I think it's an awkward shot because the object ball is moving in the opposite direction as the cue ball after contact (forward vs backward), so it's hard to judge where to hit it.

    hey Jennifer , I watch Minnesota Fats vs Mosconi on TV playing pool when I was 13 years old , and I said to my self that's is what I'm going to do for a living . The game of pool was my first love . My parents they bought a pool table , my mom was a good pool player . I sooner stay in the house and pool , my buds would come over to see if I wanted go out to play baseball or football , said no , but you can come in play pool . A pool hall was my high school. I made my first pool cue when I was a teenager . I had 3 perfect games of snooker when I was 18 and thought nothing of it . When I went to a bar , I had very little interest in any woman , I went there to hustle pool , made lots of cash . Latter on I join a pool league , it was fun , our team made some cash . 1 day I was practicing with a bud , I told him in a joking way , my legs is sore from walking around the pool table , so I told him that I'm going to stand behind the cheat line and take all my shoots from there , he laugh , big mistake on his part , so I kick his ass . I can say that I chase my dream to become a pro pool player . I use to play 60 hours per week , I did this for 45 years , 1 day I would try 9 ball for a change , because I lost interest playing 8 ball , so I went to the pool hall that sponsor's me and so I gave nine ball I try , I ran 11 racks of balls without missing 1 shoot , made 3 nine ball when I was practicing and I realized I lost interest of playing pool . I did teach other pool players how to improve their game . Also I coach a all woman's pool team and they did great . I watch you how to figure out how to bank a cue ball to hit another ball by using the dots on the rail . I never did that , I just stand back and used my imagination and it work good for me . Here is some pool tips from a old pro ok . This how I break , I would put the cue ball about 3 inches away from the rail , on the cheat line , then I would take aim on the cue ball at the bottom left side , then I would strike the cue ball with a follow through , never ever shoot hard , you get a better break with a follow through with your cue stick , the balls always explode , when I do this kind of break I always make 3 or 4 balls from the break . Also with the reaction from this kind of break , when the cue ball hits the 1 ball at the left side the cue would always hit the side rail and do another break of the rack without failed . One day I was playing snooker and doing some thinking about dart players and they would shoot with so much accuracy , with just a flick of a wrist , so I thought lets give it a try , wow so much better . So I had to go to buy another cue stick , but the cue stick had to be with just a bit smaller tip so a person could use it for 8 ball or snooker . I never did like shooting hard , but really like playing juice . Here is the best way to learn how to make perfect juice shoots and potting balls . I would place a pack of 3 balls on any place on the table , then the rest of the of the balls in the corner pocket , take 1 ball out and place it on the rail , the object is shoot the ball in the corner ,having juice on the cue ball and break up the pack of 3 balls without the cue ball hitting any rails , then you have sink the 3 balls , after you do that , make another pack of 3 balls , but place them on a different place on the table , I would this for hours . Breaking out balls is a big part of the game and soon you would learn how to take control of the game . If you can't do break outs you better go find a different game to play . If you have any question please ask them

    We need a better application for the sound. The mics used do not pick up her voice and I've had to CRANK my volume. Better mics, a boom mic, something has to be better than the non functioning model you're using. Scott Frost interview was almost inaudible at times.
