Kenny Schumann is always thanking fans and staff. I want to say THANK YOU, KENNY!
The non-compliant break rule is kind of stupid. Make two balls and spread the remainder, yet your opponent gets to shoot next because of the headstring. Huh?
I agree!
Totally agree! J.B. had some great non-compliant breaks! At least change the compliance rule from three points to two points, it would retain the overall reasoning for the rule, without unduly penalizing a lighter breaker.
Kind of stupid?
I think it takes the soft break kind of style. Most notably done by Corey duel for example
@@allmight6645yep, it's widely known as the Corey Deuel rule. Pretty stupid rule, no reason why soft break/safety break shouldn't be allowed.
She stays so still before the shot I kept thinking my video froze.
27:22 best shot the whole video
Lol
😭
Heck ya
What a gem of a game
First time ever watching Jennifer play. She has almost perfect fundamentals. Great player to watch and learn from.
JUST LOVE HER GAME! 😍❤ THE SMILE AT THE END GAME WAS AMAZING!
GREAT MATCH! Glad I watched this. Some fine, fine position play.
Glad you enjoyed it.
the beauty of a game like this is you see pro players not playing perfect. makes you not hate on yourself as much. I used to like that when they'd run pool matches on USA or some such network late at night. not just the high light games like ESPN ran. way more to learn watching games like this.
Sarah Conner killin it over here.
If Jenn doesn't get penalized, I don't think this match would've been this close. The non compliant break, giving her opponent first shot on the table was a disadvantage. She was pocketing 1-3 balls consistently on her break! Joe on the other hand struggled with his break. Also, how does the announcer NOT know who Jennifer Barretta is, really? High ranked WPBA player that's been around for years, acts like she's never been on tv.
Was just thinking the same...I did agree initially because the first time I ever saw her play was at Turning Stone where she didn't play well and I just thought that she was overhyped because she's attractive, but over time she's proved to be a solid professional.
Thanks so much Danny, I don't get out much anymore so it really helps to have good fundamentals and you have certainly helped very much through easily understood drills and concepts. Cheers!
How long has she been playing professionally and the announcer starts talking about “I didn’t think she was a good player” 🤷♂️🤦🏼♂️
Shut up, guy 🤫😶
Really enjoyed that. Two very impressive players
Glad you enjoyed it
Enjoyed, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Jennifer's game has come a long way. That touch shot on the 8 in the second to last rack was hit perfectly.
Love to watch Jennifer play she play very good..
OMG you intro music takes me back to the 80's. time to update bruh!
@Accu-Stats Video Productions Great upload, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
One of the most entertaining matches I have watched!
In the beginning it looked like Korsiak would win it easily but she hung in there. She definitely earned it.
I love watching Jennifer play. She's easy on the eyes and has her own style of playing.
“Easy on the eyes” ? 😂
@@coldpressedbrickrep translation: she fine
Nice match, good shooting and finish Jennifer!
Great match and a fantastic comeback by a great player
Nice game, Jennifer is a great player!!!
Rack 4....too many missed shots and innings. This was enjoyable to watch, but certainly shows just how good the elite players are in comparison, and just how far my own game needs to improve if I ever want to compete at that level.
A New York state of mind. Good one.
What a great match!
Great commentating gentlemen. Not arrogant or to corrective.
Only correcting each other on the six and seven ball
Maybe the best I've seen Jenifer play. Nice safety work. Nice ball control. Excellent match.
Glad you enjoyed!
she beats also Chohan...another gg
@@rabihavi8062 Yes, that is a serious win! Again though, lesser players beat better players not that infrequently, just not even CLOSE to the majority of times. She played a pretty darn fine match here...it would probably take a few male pros on their worst days, but probably not on their average days, and most certainly not on their best, at least the upper echelon guys. I've seen accu-stats running over .900 on several male players lately in matches...that is not going to be beaten by the level of play here. And I don't know how many male or female pros play the pro am Predator tour stops. What I do know is if you go look at the world ratings she is nowhere to be found in the first 50 or so I read down through. Again, maybe she doesn't play those tourneys enough, and if you don't play them often you don't accrue many points,no matter how good you are.
I'm happy to see a female player winning a match. Most vids show a female player losing. But the reality is thatvthey can play as well as everybody else. But they have to overcome so many male players.....making it almost impossible. Same in so many sports.... Really would like to see more diversty. Keep it up Jennifer and show many girls how it is done and don't be discouraged by so many "negative/byassed" video's.
What are you talking about? They have to overcome the same amount of male players as every male in the match. They don't play as well, typically, not even close, actually. She wasn't exactly playing an SVB, Busty, Duel, or Pagulayan level player here. She definitely played the better match here. Let's just stick to reality a bit, though. If female players played as well as men they would win men's tournaments as often as the top males, and there are exactly zero female players out there that have EVER done that at a pro level. Saying something doesn't make it true, you kind of have to look at the data for that, the truth I mean.
Yeah, sure. There were best female players at World pool masters couple of times. None of them made it through round 1.
You know, if your sentiment and opinion was actually true, I'd agree. Simeng Chen can ball....there's a few others. But have you ever watched a female tournament?
@@scottbranson7872 The Chinese are currently producing some amazing pool players of both sexes, no question. I predict they will be the next 'Filipinos' of pool.
It is not surprising though, since, like the Soviets used to do for the Olympics, they are identifying children that show extreme talent for the game and training them up in serious schools at a young age.
I would not doubt for a second that on a best day/worst day scenario Chen (and a few others) could beat many of the middle American pros and very occasionally even a top one, but it takes nothing more than looking at previous tournament outcomes to prove it happens almost never (has it ever?).
I don't know when this current environment has developed where people somehow feel that what they 'think', when backed by nothing, as with the original commenter means ANYTHING. It is downright weird, and I get damned tired of it.
The strangest part of ALL of it is I have no idea WHY it is true. It seems to me if there is a physical game on Earth that females should be able to compete on a level playing field with men, one of those would be pool.
Other than the break, and even there, since most male pros don't break at even close to their max speed, they don't seem at any physical disadvantage.
I have heard it said (I should research it) that women's spatial capabilities test lower than men's (there are obviously several areas where women test higher, before all the feminists jump in and cry 'fowl'), and that is one supposed difference that might explain some of it.
It is certainly not a lack of skill. If you look at Jennifer's or someone like Allison Fischer's stroke, they are beautifully mechanical, repeatable, and I don't see where they lack in route plotting skills (A pro might, but I don't, as ANY pros skills are light years beyond mine) or general thinking. On some strokes which are SERIOUSLY powered up, I think there is some definite difference. I don't see Jennifer doing REALLY extreme draws, especially from challenged cuing positions, as an example, like some of the top male pros accomplish.
Jennifer, here, even though Korsiak set some nice safeties, played an excellent strategic game, I thought. I'm still at a loss as to why the gap occurs, and why it is so large. At my level, I'm certainly not going to denigrate the game of women pros, ANY of them would slaughter me, but I can most definitely see a difference in level of play, as you say, even without seeing them play one another. My guess is a top woman pro against almost all male amateurs, though, would most times be a route, with the women pros coming out seriously on top. And I'm not talking about top level amateurs in the Fillipines that make their living at it, I'm talking about 99.5% of the amateurs in the US and Europe. Don't know that for a fact, but it is my guess.
Like I said, I really don't get most of why the difference, anyone feel free to jump in and maybe point out some other real differences. I do know one other thing, and that is when Jennifer and some other female pros are playing, I definitely learn things watching, and they play some really excellent matches.
IT is true that there are girls who can defeat boys but always loses against boys! There are girls who are as good as boys but still boys are always dominant and the king of this sport.
Amazing match!
Thanks!
Awesome match
The "Non Compliant Break" is a BS Rule, When a Ball is Made on the Break !! .. Thanks
The Girl gives the Guy 4 Games AFTER Making Balls on her Break because of the Bullshit Rule and Kicks his Butt .. Slow, but Controlled, And AWESOME.. Thanks
Thoroughly enjoyed ALL of it. I hope to have such great safety and Joey's kicks. Very good game Jennifer. Still flaming at your age too.
Great game!
I played her ones, shes a great player 🔥🔥🔥
We need to see more pool matches like this!
Awesome!
Jen your a awesome pool player (you)
Congratulations on your win (Jen showing who’s boss)
Jenn you have poise and swag lady ! Great match 🥂
Excellent match.
It seemed to me as tho the commentators were surprised that a Woman can hold her own against a Man on the pool table.
6:56 pm 1-6-2023 AWSOME!!! I am from Moncks Corner SC where I apa 9 ball and I very much enjoy watching that gal play nine ball. I’ve learned a lot by watching her and her style. I still got a lot to learn and will continue to watch her as often as possible!!!! ❤

The announcers manage to sound somewhat condescending with their compliments on Barretta's shooting expertise.
All pool announcers sound like that when commenting on anyone...

Though neither seem to like her spacing of the cuetip to cueball...They did name exceptions, but neither really like that mechanic...

since when Sandra Bullock is playing billards..?! - Wow Jennifer is playing very well..
Jennifer’s disciplined forum is amazing to watch . And some very smart safety’s to boot
May i ask is Jenifer's dad names Lam?
Weird, I was listening to a cover of "New York State of Mind" just two videos back. Truth is stranger than friction.
I have a friend with the last name Rambo, but yeah Barretta is almost as cool.
Jennifer is awesome!!!
how was the break at 1:10:18 non compliant? 2 balls dropped and 4 object balls hit the cushion
In the rules for this tournament, hitting rails doesn't matter. They are playing 3-point break rules. You need a total of 3 balls to either drop or come across the head string.
That break compliance rule is the DUMBEST rule ever!
Awesome job Jennifer, yay!
Hi, what does TPA stand for?

what a fun match to watch. I'm not a fan of Cyclop balls. I think the older Arimath TV color set made more sense...but a sponsor is a sponsor.
Hate the new colors. No need.
The best
the commentator with the deeper voice, sounds like Philip Seymour Hoffman sometimes
51:07 Look at the 9 ball roll back and stop when it hits 'the rack'. It's like thick paper.
Yeah it circled around in that rear stamp hole. Not a fan of those racks at all. Who can't rack up some balls free hand?? I'm sure they would make sure to do a good job, especially when shooting their own rack lol.
What happened to those Exact Racks I think its called...used on ESPN matches from late 90s early 2000s??
A lot of armchair pros here in the comments. None of which could play on this level
None of which could hack it at a regular pool hall.. College players mostly. They'd get hustled by a regular in one game.
@@RubbelisPro I beat Jennifer in an open, she does suck. You know how I know? I suck.
Yeah a lot of burgers out here for real
It's kind of a stretch to call cameras with that amount of chromatic aberration clear or brilliant. 37:01
Accu-Stats....please...for the sanity of all of us...upload these videos with the option to not have the commentators. I want to hear the game play and the crowd reactions, not two dudes talking like Jennifer Barretta hasn't been a top tier player for years. Their predictions are wrong, they contradict what the players do and defend themselves. If they know so much better than the pros, why are they commentating while these guys are out there actually playing? I hate listening to them and it really makes me avoid watching your videos.
Mute this cue music.
I found it entertaining and the transition of tone from "she's a girl, what could she possibly do" to "I now look at women differently in general" was kinda funny.
@@bring-out Pointing out strategies is one thing. I'm fine with that. But when a pro, who gets paid a living to shoot pool, is making a shot and the commentators are sitting around going "Oh I wouldn't do that, I think that's a bad idea" well nobody cares if you think it's a bad idea man..that's why you're not the one playing. And talking about how he's always thought women weren't good at pool? Wtf...what year is this man living in? I'm glad he finally came around and realized women aren't just eye candy but even still, I can't take someone like that seriously. If your job is to commentate a game of professionals and point out strategies and why someone may have done something, cool, do that. Don't try and act like you know so much better than the top players in world and tell everyone you think women aren't good at pool, that's pompous and tells me he needs a job doing something else.
Then don't watch the videos.
@@bring-out Except that it isn't that rare at all. Black Widow (Jeannette Lee), Jennifer Barretta, Allison Fisher, Karen Corr, Kelly Fisher, there are all very common names among people who follow and study billiards. As a commentator, I feel like he should know that stuff. Most likely you primarily see men playing pool because just like any other sport, the men's division tends to get the most attention and yes, they often separate men from women in the game of pool. That has been changing lately and I hope that trend continues because the women are just as good as the men.
🔥🔥🔥
the shot clock is just a suggested time and just counts down as a reference here.
Yeah I was gonna say what’s up with the shot on the last rack on the 4ball
These commentators say "she got lucky" a lot.. which is wrong, bc if you knew anything about Baretta's game, you'd know she is a master at safety play. she did not get lucky - it was most definitely on purpose. she's a master.
She played well, but she definitely did get lucky here a couple of times. Joey dogging that easy 9 ball shot and then the 6 on (what should have been) the last rack.
Saying she’s lucky is a great insult to a pro who trains hard to get that good, no matter the gender.
She was great in terminator too!
in Debbie does Dallas 23 too!!!!
Sandra Bullock was in neither of those movies. lol
@@mikescorpio13 Ah, Debbie Does Dallas. Fun times. I lost a lot of kids in those days.

Jennefer is amazing!
Rack 13, what a disappointment! Didn't come far enough out on the 6. I've been a Jennifer fan since I saw her on Rollie.
Just watched that video the other day...totally agree!
As a recreational player, I notice the center of plastic rack is over the spot rather than the point. Is this new?
Yes it’s called a magic rack, holds the balls in place better
@@notsid1 Thats not what he asked.
The nine is on the spot because its a lot more difficult to make balls that usually go in when the one ball is on the spot.
Thank you

So what is the shot clock for, Jennifer went over a few times while Korsiak gets up and goes to work! They even brought it up at the beginning saying how it should be shortened cause most players don’t even let it get close but I think that was cause Korsiak was the one that had been running the racks! Either way great match’s both amazing players!
As long as the player is "addressing" the cue ball, it is not a foul when the timer goes to 00. No one has taken advantage of the obvious. If the player gets off the shot or starts looking around, then it's a foul.
@@AccuStats excellent, thank you!
The first time you could hear her calling for an extension which is allowed once per frame. The second time she was addressing the ball.
She exceeded the shot clock on the last 4 ball shot
As long as a player is "addressing" the cue ball before "00" and doesn't get up off the shot, a time limit foul will NOT be called.
There's an automatic extension, once per frame.
Sarah Connor vs The Lead Singer of LIVE
I keep seeing Sandra Bullock.
the bank at 1:51:51 is a beauty
1:55:35 isn’t that a time violation. On the clock in background it goes down to 0
Does look like it. Maybe 3/4 second earlier and she would have started her shot in time. I forget the name of the ref, but he's generally pretty good. Must have just missed it.
As long as the player is "addressing" the cue ball when the clock hits zero, it is not a foul. If the player gets up off the shot after that, it would be a foul. Basically, the player must address the cue ball and stay down before the clock hits zero.
@@AccuStats Thanks for clearing that up. I did think this may have been a time foul and I was wrong. Not the biggest fan of shot clocks, tbh, but I am glad to be a little less dumb about them lol. Thanks AS crew.
@@thangs I was going to ask the same question. I seen the shot clock get down to zero 3 times. I'm pretty sure I've seen older matches where it is a foul if you didn't hit the cue ball before zero. But there always seems to be rules changing.

The break rule is stupid when you can see that someone is hitting them hard. How about just using a radar gun and if it is hit above a specific speed it is a good break....?
I agree.
That compliant break rule penalized her. She clearly tried to break the balls well. That rule stinks.
I agree.
I don’t like that rule.
You can thank Corey Deuel for rhat.
why is the 9 ball on the spot when raxking. Thought the 1 ball was suposEd tobe on the spot.
This sets the rack slightly higher thus making the corner ball harder to make.
And now they make the one ball in the side instead. I wish they would just leave the rules alone!
Why is the 9 on the spot for the break?
It makes it harder to make a ball on the break.
@@AccuStats gotcha thanks
Not to take anything from her, she played great and hit several huge shots down the stretch. She did squeezed in around 4 or 5 shots that went a few secs beyond the time limit. Is that allowed? She had her aim fixed anyway. Well deserved win.
If a player is "addressing" the cue ball when the clock runs out, it is not a foul.
Ok this non-compliant rule is confusing? Anyone please share the rule?
A compliant break is one where three object balls must pass the head-string on the break (or one less ball for every ball made on the break) This is to avoid the "soft break".
