JoesGE.com is a pretty cool place (depending who you talk to it might be more than pretty cool. But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt Baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two-sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that, we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse losing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so let's keep going.
We do some really interesting things here at JoesGE which are frequently documented in our sometimes weekly sometimes never vlogs.
Also, if you are wondering how we keep up with the demands of the people so well, its because 90% of the people that work here are all Russian around getting things done most of the time. Yes, that was a pun, you are welcome. We hope you have a pun-filled day, because who couldn't use a few laughs?

There are a couple of misleading informations:
    1. The NC700 isn’t lighter than the the QC35II, it is actually the other way round.
    2. The hinges of the QC35II won’t snap from normal every day usage. They’re not Beats headphones.
    3. Both have access to Siri, not just the NC700.

    QC35(2) I compared these with the Sony's xm4
For several days.... Thinking that the sony's would sound better...
Some songs did and some didn't..
I could wear the Bose to sleep for 8 hours if I wanted..
Absolutely love the Bose over the sonys

Just bought Sony XM4, sound is great, more features to control over your phone, about 95% sound quality with qc35 II.
Both NC headphones are great, personal feeling is that Sony is more quiet for NC alone. Price about $50 cheaper.
Both are comfort to wear for several hours.

QC35: Better audio quality : instruments feel more alive, bass is amazing
700: More user friendly, better looking, Better noice cancelling

It's funny how Bose are kinda like the top of the line but the new technology on the 700s with no buttons, I have a pair of Samsung Level ones, they are pretty old now but they have had that technology on them for seat 4 - 5 years and they aren't bad sounding at all

Do you know why both the BOSE 700 and the QC35ii have obstructions blocking their speakers? With the QC35ii it's a piece of reshaped corrugated flat wire (that seems to be glued in) and with the 700s it's a metal plate (screwed in) with a raised canal down the center to let higher frequencies escape. I wonder if it would improve the sound to remove these obstructions or if it will make them worse. I noticed that the highest of frequencies are kind of soft in both of these BOSE headphone sets and these obstructions have to be causing at least some of that; it seems to be a very strange thing to do by BOSE putting them in there like that.

We are uncertain about this as of now but are looking into it.

I have the QC35 ii headphones myself but have listen to the 700s in Best Buy (but not with my music, unfortunately) and they sounded pretty pleasant to me, but I think they have a little less low end bass compared to the 35s - I've seen frequency graphs on both and they are different. I also tried the Sony 1000xm3s there and I literally could not stand the sound of those (great noise cancellation though); they had way too much mid and high bass so there was no low end detail across the entire bass frequency range. I thought that music in the 700s sounded way better than the Sonys (the 700's noise cancelation was not as good as Sonys but noticeably better than the 35s). What do you think of the Sonys? Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I should get some 700s just to have something different to switch between every once and a while.

Tried 700 for 2 days. Can't wear more than 60 mins due to discomfort. Going to go 35s or Sony. And loud chime on startup on all bose is jarring, bose is not fixing it either. Bummer. Review is spot on.
Update: Been using QC 2 for weeks now and wear it all day. Go for it !
