What a wonderful teaching session, Dr. Lawson!! GOD BLESS YOU, Dr. Steve Lawson, you & your entire ministry & your entire congregation & your entire families! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ABUNDANTLY IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIVES!! GOD IS LOVE and it is so well expressed in the letter of Paul to the Corinthians where Paul explains GOD'S grande compassion & HIS Amazing comfort for us sothat we comfort others in their despair, continously loving them & serving them : "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort."(2 Corinthians 2:3-7) Apostle Paul used in his text the word "comfort" nine times and the word compassion one time. I searched for the meaning of comfort as the hebrew word: The word comfort in hebrew means "ne•cha•ma" and it is very unique. If you break its letters down you’ll receive two overlapping words: no•ach (comfortable and resting) and cham or cha•ma (warm). Even the first word attests to the Hebrew origin of the English word ‘comfort:’ ne•cha•ma is then an offer of rest and easement to a troubled, suffering soul.
“Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God. “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her forced labor has been completed; her iniquity has been pardoned. For she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins.”(Isaiah 40:1-2)
GOD acts towards HIS children by comforting them in LOVE and in Warmth, embracing them with HIS invisible hands, holds them tight unto HIS bossom and nourishes them with HIS ultimate LOVE.

    Pastor,
I thank the Lord for calling you to this ministry. Having said that, I must challenge your understanding of “eternal life”. You mentioned (at the 24:23 mark) that eternality is not a reference to “length of life” but that it refers more to equality of life and “ages to come”. I challenge this because the panoply of scripture clearly points to an everlasting existence, which begins the moment we become born again. John 3:16 and the doctrine of eternal security changes if we adopt your theology.
If you are teaching that eternal life does not begin until we enter his presence, I would submit to you that eternal life begins the moment we are born again. John 11 gives us the conversation between Jesus and Martha. In verse 26 Jesus specifically teaches that the living believer is already eternal. Yes, the flesh will die, but the spirit is already eternal. I hope you will correct this or at least address it. Thank you again for your surrendered outreach. May the name of Jesus be magnified.

They have a different understanding of love than God's Word, which says God is love. Affirming sin isn't loving, its condemning them to hell. They need to repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not the social gospel.
