So nice to finally get a good audio and video recording from this dude.
This is what real, un-edited double strokes sound like and it sounds amazing.
Dave does deserve more recognition in the drumming world. His restraint on body movements alone are jaw dropping. The stamina of this dude is unbelievable. Even after a show he holds his composure like no one I have ever seen.
Actually that goes for all the members, true professionals and beasts.
He makes it look so easy.

I swear I just love this band and the guys in it. Had the pleasure playing with them years ago and they treated all of us like part of the package. Seriously humbled people and I wish the best for them always.

Dave is just unbelievable.Its really strange watching him play.What I mean by this the movement and expression only looks 30% of what he can actually do compared to what we're actually hearing.If he went full 100% the kit would just crumble.What a monster player.

I´m not an expert on drumming, in fact I´m a guitarist and just interested in the whole subject matter: But why does the double bass sound double as fast as he actually plays it?!
He uses double strokes on his feet to play fast tempos, while also saving a lot of energy.
