Pain will not be there after root canal treatment if there is no residual infection. Can take antibiotics and painkillers with concern of your gynecologist and dentist and if still pain is there re root canal treatment has to be done

Success of Root Canal Treatment depends on the severity of infection in the tooth root and its surrounding bone .,Root canals are recommended according to this, if pain occurs after RCT, the infection has to assessed with XRAYS, then can do ReRCT ,if poor prognosis have to extract the tooth
