    My lady (Chief Justice) kindly calm down and listen to the speaker lawyer, if there's anyone interrupting then is you. Stop the arrogant act, it will not take you anywhere, after all you're not God. Remember the almighty God (the real chief justice) is watching you from above because he's also interest in this case

      You don’t know the rules of court. The judge can interrupt but not the lawyer. Learn. If you care to know, the lawyer make a lot of mistakes and this make most judges angry. The reason she’s mad at him was because the lawyer is a senior lawyer and shouldn’t have made such mistakes. He played himself into the hands of the judge.

      Who told you that a judge will not argue in his court. It is done and explained to the lawyer thing done and not done for fairness. In a debate is not about winning the debate but to be convinced by your opponents in a issue. If you are ignorant and debate and thing are pointed to you and you realize you are wrong you will appreciate it. Unfortunately lawyers of these days go to court and come out to say something else. The case is live yet biases can be seen and heard by viewers who are ignorant of law. Go back and watch the presidential petition cases from 2013 and 2021 judges pointed out salient issues if you call it argument in court.

    • @mkash1180
      @mkash1180 Před 22 dny

      @@elvis37199 No one is ignorant about fairness. Are you telling us that the chiefs and kings who rule or ruled cases in their palaces needed a law degree to carry out justice? Justice is in the heart of every sane person. Do not underestimate the discernment of the people watching. Arguing a case is different from probing to reveal or to correct. If you went into surgery to get your appendix cut out due to the appendicitis and ended up getting your liver punctured, everyone on earth has the right to say that the surgery did not go right without them needing to have a degree in medicine to be able to understand. If a judge can jail someone on the basis of their intentions, then we can also say that the demeanour of the judge is unfair and biased. Consider your lawyer being handled this way in court, will you ever feel confident that justice will prevail in the end? If they had their way, they would throw out the case that instant. You should know that.

    • @jasare23
      @jasare23 Před 16 dny

      @@kobinasagoe7407 Luckily, I do, and I think you're looking at it the wrong way. Separation of powers creates a system of checks and balances. It doesn't mean when the legislature makes a decision it can't be challenged by the executive or judiciary. And since you mentioned democracy, it's the same system of Gov't that created the avenue for a private citizen to challenge the parliament for different reasons, one being enacting a bill without the right quorum. Now, refer to the function of the Judiciary - interprets, defends, and applies the law to the facts of each case. So I still don't agree with you about the case before the Supreme Court being unnecessary. What you're proposing is exactly why there's separation of powers - to check each other and ensure liberty. Got it?

    • @kobinasagoe7407
      @kobinasagoe7407 Před 16 dny

      @jasare23 nobody is expected to challenge Parliament when it's in the process of legislation of a law until the process is complete, then the constitutionality or otherwise of the law can be challenged in the Supreme Court or the High Court. What the Supreme Court is doing is an abuse of the separation of powers theory and abuse of power. I live in the US and have not been an avenue where the work of the US Congress has been challenged by any citizen of the US, as in suing Capitol Hill before the enactment of a law. The US Supreme Court will not even take up such a useless enterprise or venture. Even during the contentious period of the enactment of the Affordable Care Act, there were criticisms from outside and within the US Congress, but no one filed a legal suit challenging the legality of the process until it was concluded, then the lawsuits started being filed at the High Courts, and eventually the Supreme Court took over the case. But because the democracy in Ghana is diluted by nonsense like you, you believe in the political charade going on in the Supreme Court. Fools!

      I thought maybe you were gonna make this more interesting with citations to show why you claim it's unnecessary, but nope. It appears you're full of what the Americans say - crap!
