carlos roca Serena has more power than Osaka and yet Osaka still has a 2-0 head to head against Serena. It’s not just about power. Osaka has played Sabalenka 3 times - twice on the pro tour and Osaka has won all three games. Sabalenka was no less powerful today than she was 3 weeks ago when Osaka beat her at the U.S. Open.

Aryna is a force to be reckoned with. Her US Open match with Naomi Osaka was a classic. Each player seemed in control. The first set was all Osaka, the second Aryna, who then broke out on top in the third but in the end Osaka took control and moved on to overwhelm S Williams in the final. Both Osaka and Aryna will challenge S Williams time after time. Williams' days of overpowering her opposition are over.

But Kontaveit really didn't do anything to make it harder for her opponent - it looked like she knew from the beggining that she's gonna lose this.
Congrats to Sabalenka, for sure she's gonna win some slams in the future. For Anett also congrats, hopefully she'll understand from this tournament, that she can achieve also something big. Kanepi never been in the Premier 5 final, Kontaveit is so she finally beat in something her compatriot

Sabalenka has a beautiful game but hard to like her with that awful grunt. Come on, there are points where she doesnt make a sound so why does she intermittently screech like a banshee?

The "grunts" are now a part of tennis. Listen to SWilliams. Who doesn't make a sound male or female????

There are many who don't grunt. One good example is Osaka, who recently won the Open without sounding like giving birth.

Sabalenka is just the caricature and the parody of all the great champions of the last 15 years. So pathetic.
