Me neither, they just typically look a big tacky especially on this. Where as on say a brz they sort of flow with the body lines.

TRUE STORY: About 10 years ago, we saw the inserts on gas grills. Then we engineered them on the rear frame of Caterpillar Medium-sized L-series wheel loaders. It saved us from welding bosses on the rear frames. The holes were laser cut with a 6,000 kW Tanaka gantry laser. The material is 8 to 10mm depending on models, 950-982.

Just weld the metal together again and prime it and seamseal then its sealed so it doesnt rust
