Wow. His story is just like mine. I also struggled in Ghana and finally won the lottery to cone to US and today I'm also serving the US Navy and travelling around the world. When your time is due, you can be in the pit, but the Lord will surely find you.

@@SVTVAfrica Hello SVT Africa,l had a similar call in 2019 just like our brother narrated but l thought it was one of those schemes cos by then momo fraud was very high so l just ignored and didn't bother to follow up, a year later l remembered yes l filled a form of that sort when we were in College. I tried all l could if l had the number stored on my phone so l cud call the man back but didn't materialised,Kusi story has really shown me how l let go such an opportunity that could change my entire household. Can u use ur platform to find out if l could still pursue it after these years please?

In America soldiers are respected but not feared by the civilians because they are decent, disciplined and don't go about attacking civilians. In Ghana soldiers are feared but not respected because some are not discipline and brutalize civilians just because they are soldiers.

One important information missing from the conversation is the age limit to join the army. I believe you have to be 35 years or less to join.

Soldier you are right, you are telling my story it was at the police depot that I knew I can run and started running for my squad and I was first and come to run for inter depot
Ghanaians fear military 🪖 but not a respect in the western world the society gives full respect I mean respect to their military men and women especially the veterans its not a joke.
Whenever you are born the good Lord puts in place your angel.....DJ..please find out if they are still in touch with whoever their angel was. gratitude is something missing in our society.. Also generally speaking the Bono's are a different breed they humbly take care of each other... I was in Naija in the late 70s and some Bono's were there and it was the same.. God bless

I've never gotten used to taking flights. I was using internal flights a number of times when I was in Ghana. But I'm always scared during take-off and landing. My first international flight was when I left Ghana.

My goodness what opportunity have l missed ? I have a similar story from what Kusi said,l also completed Akatsi College of Education in 2016,around 20l9 l had a call one man when l was in class who questioned if l attended Akatsi College of Education then l said yes.He then told me have l won an America lottery and if l had a passport. I thought it was scam and besides l didn't have a passport so l didn't follow up,it was a year later dat remember l did fill some form 2013 back at school. Question is it too late to follow up or l have missed the opportunity for good given the fact that l had the call in 2019?

I remember when I first told my parents I'm joining the US Army. My mum begged me not to, she cried like a week. My dad didn't want to even hear that. 14yrs in the army now, 3 deployments and still counting.

Clear that misconception that when you win the lottery there is a house for you to live in, nothing like that
There’s no free house sitting anywhere for you to leave please.
You need to do your due diligence to get someone to help you find a place to lay your head till you settle.
I even thought previously that winning lottery gives you an automatic job.

Its always easy in Europe to join the Army because they need more soldiers for war ... Unlike Ghanaian soldiers that hav never fought a real war unless with civilians ...... I cry for Ghana the day some country will wanna take over our nation ..... It's believed Almost all the soldiers used protocol to be recruited .
