- haven't been able to upload much these past few weeks because of school and grinding the Platinum Trophy for FF7 rebirth but finally I did it! Here is the final moment before i got the Platinum Trophy for FF7 Rebirth!

Finally bagged that freaking platinum trophy after almost 2 months! I got knocked out in Sephiroth phase 3, retry and need to use limit break and adapt. Last Sephiroth final phase took me 10 tries at least, but I finally got him, managed to sneak in Access too! It was liberating!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you optinoob for these awesome guides. Hopefully your channel blows up even more in the future. What a journey!
See you in 3 years everyone when we have to fight Sephiroth AGAIN. Hopefully for the last time.

It took like 15 tries but I finally beat him and I’m never ever playing this on hard mode again!
The new version of One-Winged Angel slaps as hard as Octaslash does
I feel a little stupid, I didn’t think of using my Focused abilities for those blue bars at all.
Me either, I didn’t look at any videos of hard mode for this fight until after I beat it

Jenova Lifeclinger took me about ten tries on Hard. Really struggled with that one. I was mentally preparing for Sephiroth during the whole run. Beat him on the first attempt luckily. Saved Finishing Touch for The End is Nigh.
Only thing that was hard about this chapter was Sephiroth Reborn when you have to break his wings. Human Sephiroth gets ultimately destroyed by Punisher mode with prime mode on. And two sonic booms break masamune and wing attacks
This guy is fucking hard. I spend a lot of times to crush him without a guide 😢

Finally beat him in hard mode today
Can’t even do it on dynamic at lvl 50 let alone hard mode I quit and turned to easy coz I’m so done with fighting Sephiroth for the millionth time and watching the scene before the fight every time you die is just designed to infuriate you and break the controller
Edit: I came back for round 2 on hard mode, struggled a few times but I managed way better with my glass magic cannon build lol
Almost got the platinum just waiting for them to fix the last side mission in the gold saucer
It's a very tough boss fight, no doubt. It's all about the set up if you're struggling with the combat timing. Regen, haste, bravery etc. Then as soon as he hits "the end is nigh" just spam focus thrust and sorcerous storm to get the stagger before the octoslash comes in

It's hard mode, aka NG+, you can use all sorts of costumes, even the one from the Gold Saucer play

what’s your build for hard mode bro? what do you recommend?
Basically all your characters must have these materia equipped to them
- HP UP, MP UP, Healing, Revival, Prayer, Steadfast Block and Precision Defense
The following materia above are essential to your characters.
Next up is the other useful materia that will help you are the magic elemental materias namely wind, fire, ice and lightning combined to an elemental materia for either defense or elemental advantage attack. To make fights easier depending on your enemies.
Next is for the characters that have reprieve ( kind of a like a safety net ) Equip it to them but sadly nanaki, yuffie and barret don't have them.
Other useful materias are the stat boosting ones like Strength up, vitality up, luck up and the like.
But in general you must have those 7 materias in all your characters, depending on whether there will be solo fights you can change prayer to Chakra materia and the elemental attack or defense advantage.
And lastly it is entirely up to you, but before hard mode if you can you should get the götterdamerung before starting hard mode to make the hard mode playthrough a bit easier and faster!
Edit: I almost forgot, you can also link magnify to a healing materia on a or the character of your choice for emergency heals

You're using the Götterdamerung LB accessory yourself, right? I see you also have some upper tier abilities (from playing hard mode I guess) as well@@Eze460 Also, funny he didn't do the Octaslash move, wonder if that's blockable.
Might I add, even with the same loadout you recommend I couldn't beat Sephirot in normal mode... until I figured out it's almost scripted boss fight, only one or two ways to beat him, really. you absolutely need to save your ATB charges to heal after his most damaging attacks. Other than that, it's about wearing him down, avoid getting hit as much as you can and build your ATB/LB charges for the few openings you have.
He does the octashasl only on zack and cloud fight.@@renzocalcagno536

No you don't. You can start at the beginning of the phase you died at. You just so happen to choose the wrong option.
Yeah like several phases with stupid long cut scenes. This boss sucks throwing out heartless angel then immediatly one shotting you oh and when i had a random team that didnt work for bahamut i had to reset fron previous 2 phases this game sucks.
I dont really like sephiroth battles across either games. Why cant he just have 2 phases. Seriously its just RIDICULOUS after all i had to put up with to end up with this steaming pile of 💩 boss gauntlet. I only need to beat this chapter for platinum but i just HATE this chapter. Its my least fav chapter in the entire game. Duno if i can tolerate it seph is a complete poser who just wont F off.
for the most part i enjoyed the game except some of the hardmode mini games just ruined my fun, but chapter 14 is the dumbest chapter by far, you die you start all those lame fights again and those fights are so stupid and have a ton of cut scenes in them as well which totally makes combat boring, chapter 14 is like a totally dif game than the rest was really disappointed with chapter 14 tbh , I would of rated this a 9/10 but thanks to chapter 14 i’ll have to give this a 6/10 sorry SE but not only did you fumble up the story here you made this chapter extremely terrible too.
also the dungeon in chapter 13 was great , and that first boss the keeper (dragon) was a really awesome boss, sadly that is the only real dungeon in the game :( wish the game had more dungeons like that with treasure , because getting the best material or armor should be in dungeons and not some boring combat sim …… I could go on for ever how this game could of been great but it is what it is .

I don’t think difficulty trophies have a place in the gaming industry. It prevents players with accessibility issues from trophy hunting. Most modern games are moving away from practice. Not saying to remove the difficulty, just not lock the trophies behind it.
