It's a very tough boss fight, no doubt. It's all about the set up if you're struggling with the combat timing. Regen, haste, bravery etc. Then as soon as he hits "the end is nigh" just spam focus thrust and sorcerous storm to get the stagger before the octoslash comes in

Well... I didn't beat Bonds of Friendship in 32 seconds hahaha I think it was more or less 32 minutes but irl time it took about almost an hour. I'll try to make a tutorial video in a few days after I'm done doing some offline trophy grinds!

I don’t think difficulty trophies have a place in the gaming industry. It prevents players with accessibility issues from trophy hunting. Most modern games are moving away from practice. Not saying to remove the difficulty, just not lock the trophies behind it.

No you don't. You can start at the beginning of the phase you died at. You just so happen to choose the wrong option.

Yeah like several phases with stupid long cut scenes. This boss sucks throwing out heartless angel then immediatly one shotting you oh and when i had a random team that didnt work for bahamut i had to reset fron previous 2 phases this game sucks.

Even after you finished the game, you can still use chapter select to a specific chapter that you want to play on. But I reccomend that you pick chapter 12 and play til fast travel becomes available, or at the start of chapter 13. When you use chapter select there will be options for you to choose whether you want to play the chapter with all progress carried over ( whether it be side quests or mini game scores ) or have everything carried over except the side quests progress. You don't have to worry about losing your side quests, mini game or treasure trove progress because they can be carried over in NG+ ( Chapter Select ). Hope this helps 😁

@@Eze460 What do you recommend me to do? I have already finished the game and I am missing Gilgamesh, the development of materials, Jhony's treasures and the difficulty on hard. I have thought about playing the difficult difficulty now and when I reach chapter 12, clean all the trophies that I have left from the minigames, gilgamesh, subjects, etc.

@xwasterzz-__-7803 I suggest that you should go complete all world Intel first so that you can develop all the materias with chadley, then go and defeat Gilgamesh. After that you can go on ahead and get all Johnny's treasure trove items except for the last one. The last treasure trove item requires you to complete all of Charley's VR missions but the VR missions especially the Brutal/Legendary Sims are the hardest challenges that the game throws at you so that might be a road block. But you can approach that road block in 2 ways, first complete the VR missions til brutal challenge 6 so that you can get the götterdamerung and male your hard mode playthrough a lot easier and then finish the Legendary bouts... or play through hard mode first and then complete the brutal/legendary Sims. Whatever floats your boat because both of them whichever you want to do first benefits the other!

@@Eze460 If I select, for example, chapter 13 and go for the minigames that I need for Johnny's trophies, do I need to finish the episode or when I win them are they saved and can I go to another chapter?

@xwasterzz-__-7803 when you win them, you can go to another chapter if you want. The progress is saved all throughout as long as you pick the right options and as always do a save just before you go to another chapter just to be sure!

Basically all your characters must have these materia equipped to them - HP UP, MP UP, Healing, Revival, Prayer, Steadfast Block and Precision Defense The following materia above are essential to your characters. Next up is the other useful materia that will help you are the magic elemental materias namely wind, fire, ice and lightning combined to an elemental materia for either defense or elemental advantage attack. To make fights easier depending on your enemies. Next is for the characters that have reprieve ( kind of a like a safety net ) Equip it to them but sadly nanaki, yuffie and barret don't have them. Other useful materias are the stat boosting ones like Strength up, vitality up, luck up and the like. But in general you must have those 7 materias in all your characters, depending on whether there will be solo fights you can change prayer to Chakra materia and the elemental attack or defense advantage. And lastly it is entirely up to you, but before hard mode if you can you should get the götterdamerung before starting hard mode to make the hard mode playthrough a bit easier and faster! Edit: I almost forgot, you can also link magnify to a healing materia on a or the character of your choice for emergency heals

I see you also have some upper tier abilities (from playing hard mode I guess) as well@@Eze460 Also, funny he didn't do the Octaslash move, wonder if that's blockable. Might I add, even with the same loadout you recommend I couldn't beat Sephirot in normal mode... until I figured out it's almost scripted boss fight, only one or two ways to beat him, really. you absolutely need to save your ATB charges to heal after his most damaging attacks. Other than that, it's about wearing him down, avoid getting hit as much as you can and build your ATB/LB charges for the few openings you have.

you first have to have a copy of the game on PC and you then have to install the HD MOD from here: www.reshdp.com/re2/ You can also find the other HD MODS for RE 1 and RE3 Nemesis here! just follow the instructions there and you will be good to go
