- Back at it again... like Remake's Dancing Queen trophy, a perfect score is not required for Rebirth's Stealing the Show trophy and receiving the outstanding performance, as long as you are playing on the highest ★★★ difficulty on each segment and score above a certain threshold. I just really wanted to get that perfect score again..!

Mission failing successfully
It kind of shows how things would be if Shinra wasn’t evil. Or at least wasn’t hellbent on fcking with the lives of our main characters.

@@bakacdaz To be fair Rufus wasn't as much of a dick compare to his father (and Rebirth really shows that), the only real assholes were Hojo and Scarlet. Heidegger was a dick as well but at least he is loyal and actually doing his job; Palmer does nothing but drinks tea and visiting Gold Saucer with business expenses, and the Turks are just following orders.
Look at Cloud, living his old dream, just for a moment, of being a leader of men in the army of Midgar.
Cloud's dream was to join SOLDIER!
However, he failed the entrance exam but was too embarrassed to return home in failure, so he became an infantryman instead.
He never wanted to be a random trooper! Much less a leader of them!

They really took this section to a whole new level, this whole game so far has been nothing short of perfect, love how they added the victory fanfare with Clouds sword spin.
I kinda wished the results showed a shadowed image of the summons, as a reminder of the formation that was done, and that if done well enough, the crowd believes it was a near summon in the best way.
As they say: make it part of the show!
I loved this section so much. Loved how epic they made, and how they gave personality to the soldiers. I was terrified I'd have to kill the soldiers by the end!
You start to feel sorry after one of them says "We don't leave a man behind. We trust you."

i really loved how cloud got carried away by the role during the speech to seventh infantry, and tifa and aerith had to bring him down to reality of theyr real infiltrating mission!!!

I love how Tifa and Aerith were perfectly coordinated and even knew the dance moves at the gold saucer. I don't require an explanation of how they knew and I'm so here for that energy
Pro tip, you can pause it before each button press to memorize/remember the what each color means. I didn't get a perfect score BUT the idea is to get over 100k points. This will get you first place.

Edit: I also picked the most difficult formation for all 3 section, I guess that's why I can still win against bike squad with some misses.

@@DecemberProjects Did happen to me too. You have to set up your Formation, so you can get the "Formation Bonus". Then 100K should be enough

That said I think we just met our submarine crew for Part 3.
Makes you feel bad for all those troopers who fell fighting AVALANCHE thinking they were just fighting to protect their homes and city and country.
Square is really REALLY good at making an Opponent's side loveable. Kingdom like Garlemald, they dont just make it the Antagonist's home, but also giving it life and somehow a reason to side with them just ny seeing how alive the world is
It’s about creating ambiguity & illustrating that there’s good & evil ok both sides.
Got to say this sequence really honored the original FFVII.

The animation in this game is amazing you’d think it is a real anime movie
The rendering is truly excellent, especially in the cutscenes, but the facial animation (specifically the mouth’s movement) still needs improvement. Hopefully they will improve this in the third game, because realistic facial and mouth movement have been made possible in some other games, such as Mortal Kombat 11, Injustice, Insomniac’s Spider-Man, Detroit Becomes Human, etc.
@@halfbee7886 they didn't do it for sidequests and I don't blame em, every model has different face parts and to make them all move thats like atleast 25 characters mouths to make perfect.

Facial expressions and mouth movement are always the hardest part in animation, let alone in real-time rendering such as in video games, so tbh it doesn’t bother me that much when the face looks a bit off at times. I just hope that in the future, we could truly see more video games with highly realistic facial animations, and I know that future is near. I especially want to see it in Final Fantasy games, since they always have good looking characters. Imagine good looking characters having realistic facial expressions, it would be the best of both worlds, and I can’t wait to see that (just hoping I’m still alive when that becomes the industry standard).
Rufus’s lip movements look a little odd to me though.

Nice, I got that trophy but had to retry a few times. Of course I skipped the scenes. Not knowing that the threshold was 100k I missed the outstanding performance part and it went straight to Yuffy. Now I had the chance to finally watch it. So happy for the commander ^^
Really hope they patch in a "retry minigame" option, I kept missing a few on the ramuh one til I settled for 'good' instead
I saw you can retry if your still in the middle of formation, but once that 3rd formation is over there is no retry. Note when I hit retry it takes me back to before talking to lady followed by speech of cloud, tifa, and Aerith. @robertwoodley7623
That Shiva one was way too difficult for me. I had to turn my brightness down to see the triangle ones.
I just had to watch this parade again after successfully winning the Outstanding Performance Award, but i didn't do it just for the trophy (it took me three retries to win) i did for The Seventh Infantry Unit; those solders captured my heart and i wanted them to win that award and gain some glory for their day in the spotlight.
Remember when this was just a silly little mini game?

If i remember right, in the Classic FFVII the squad you do with the parade show up again as the crew of the submarine you steal as part of the Huge materia quest, i am both hoping the 7th do get to show up again but they also stand down like they get a chance to do in Classic FFVII
In the original game if you do the drill perfectly on the dock, you get "Force Stealer" early.
The Shinra March is amazing in all editions but especially now.

Running around junon made me realize the vast differences between the playstation and the PS5, and the dedication of the devs. Nobody in the crowed is wearing the same outfit, and there are sooo many people. The original ff7 just had a few troopers and the crowd was tiny in comparison.
What do you call fantasies that look like they take place in our world? They have cities and news stations and smartphones and tv. So many people look like normal civilians. I love this type of fantasy the absolute most

This NPC at 7:12 stood out to me that whenever I see him elsewhere I assume it's the same person, especially in Gold Saucer.
I absolutely love this scene here I love how the 7 soldiers stayed with Cloud when they were fighting against the shinra the entire time what are the side of things is one of the soldiers in that you come across actually has a collection of cats like wedge and a more likely scenario is when you escaped you end up killing this poor man come up with someone who owns a cat I kind of felt bad for this character
not really shinra, just different soldier faction (idk what they called).

I think these soldiers are ones who got into the service for the right reasons.

These QT sequences just like with that freakin' Honey Bee dance in Remake are so tough for me, too much animation noise going on in the scene that distracts and makes it hard to follow the path leading to those prompts. If only the devs had added more accessibility options eg. slow down the game speed for certain mini-games.

I didn't get all greats, but I ended up getting a "perfect score" on my first try anyway. It was REALLY fun.
With the seventh infantry captain and her team have unique face, they no longer need Cloud victory fanfare for identity themself.
Only one I cant get is the really short mash during Bahamut. Perfected the rest of it

This might be the most challenging part for me 😰, ever since playing Hatsune Miku games I always get the urge to play it to perfection even though I suck at it 😅😅😅
The number of times I had to redo this... I think I lost count after the 5th attempt and it took me, like an hour or two, I think to get it. It wasn't 100% perfect, more like 98%. Most were Greats, a few Goods, but no Bads.
This was so much better than that jank clusterfuck of a minigame this part was in the original.
What score do you actually need to take top prize from the Midgar Mobile Unit? Most game guides say above 100,000. I’ve hit 100,365 twice and didn’t beat the Midgar Mobile Unit to that award…
