- Big cam VQ sound clips. Previously unreleased just because they were low quality, old, or repetitive.
There’s a mixture of idle, revs, interior, and exterior exhaust clips.
It’s just to tide you over while the car is being rebuilt. It will be louder, meaner, and more powerful in about 8-10 weeks.

Never thought the vq could sound like that. Nasty
sounds good.
last year in NorCal NASA I was one of two 350zs and of course I was a beginner so my car wasn't built. last month that the first event of the season there were three race teams running them so the car is making a comeback in this region.
Yeah I feel they will still be popular for a while longer.
I just got done building my HR,
JWT c8/rz2 cams
JWT Beehive springs/valve/ retainers
Z1 ported upper and lower plenum,
2.5” Stillen cai
11.1 Wiseco pistons
Brian Crower Rods
ISR Long tube headers and Y pipe
Tomei catback
Boundary billet oil pulp gear
Whole timing re done
A lot of extra little goodies here and there, basically only thing I kept was the crank..
going to dyno tune it this Thursday with Martin from RS ENTHALPY.
I’ve seen every 350z video on CZcams, yours and Sasha’s are the best ones and good inspiration to me. Thanks a lot and best of luck.
Oh, e85 also on 650cc injectors with a 450lph
@@graniteempirethestonepros794 sounds really good! Good luck!
One of the nastiest machines I've ever had the experience of listening too period
Bro I could listen to your car all day
What a beast!
Thanks!
The sickness! 👍
Sounds absolutely beautiful, great work. What did you have to do to get these to fit? I'm about to purchase my C8 RZ2 cams with my VQ37HR build.
My last vid on my channel started to show the engine tear down that is occurring now for improvements. At about the 5 minute mark you can see some of the clearancing required for the 13mm lift cams. czcams.com/video/Fym5pi78Dfk/video.html
That lope tho, sounds so badass. Did you have to raise the idle or just set their by preferance?
Im not sure. Like normal the idle is faster when it’s colder and slower when it’s warmed up.
One of my favorite Z's! How much of a difference do you think C9's on the Intake side would make in sound/performance
Ah, the perfect car for putting around town. Actually, I'm hoping to turn my build into a barely street-legal road going version of this. I think I'm basically there now, I'm just shopping for seats to replace the heavy leather ones that let me slide around.
I sometimes think it would be fun to take this car for some basic errand one time.
Which cam is this and what supporting did you have to do
do you think you'll be out to GB to do a shakedown? hope to see you there. got my own Z 305s squared finally, along with the other bits and bobs. cheers!
Yeah at some point for sure
🤤🤤🤤
What’s the compression ratio and what fuel do u run?
These pistons were 12:1. 12.5:1 will be here in a few weeks. Fuel is MS109
Hey Michael, what engine oil do you on track?
I usually change it after every track weekend so it doesn't matter that much. Motul is the most common as I win that all the time.
@@2THPWR yea I do the same, have you tried any other weights other than 5w-30? I know you have engine work done, I’m TT and only run on track as well.
Jesus H Christ😍😍😍
Hey I’m trying to build mines right now and I don’t know it cam‘s to go with
Depends if you want a mild cam that just drops in or if you are prepared for some custom grinding to make them fit. My last video of the year down shows some of the grinding required to make these fit
Depends what you want from the car.
Staying NA ?
Going FI ?
Road/Track ?
Race ?
All different goals, with different cams.
(for ex, my car is mainly track day fun, na - so I have JWT C8's, it's a reasonable match)
@@TheRobphobos Do you find the C8 daily useable? Considering them for my mainly road going car which sees the track only occasionally
8600rpm, are you just running billet oil pump gears ?
Nismo oil pump only. Rev cut off is actually set at 8000 for safety even though 8600 is the mechanical limit I’ve been told.
@@2THPWR so if u balanced your rotating assembly higher then ur mechanical limit would be raised higher as well right?
how do I get my 370z to sound like this?
Big cams and high redline lol
The old build is laid out here czcams.com/video/88cN6SU5Wj0/video.html
And the new one is on the way in a few weeks
sounds AWESOME but it kinda looks like crap. miss my Z more than any car.
Its going to look better and have more power in a few weeks.
@@2THPWR I believe you. And I'll tune in when ya do
