Lovely podcast again Daki. I do enjoy the start and taking a moment to sit with you in the light, it does make for a relaxed a pleasurable time spent with you. So many beautiful things you talked about. I can definitely relate to that feeling when you are clicking with a project and it feels right and you want to get back to working on it. The mandala is looking lovely. Beautiful extra segments again too. Goodness Arik’s spoons are so delicate and fine, what beautiful work. The indigo dying is so beautiful too, what wonderful colour you are getting. I enjoyed the story of your wedding sari. Hand woven and hand painted, it is truly gorgeous. Such craftsmanship and such a precious thing. Such a juxtaposition with its encounter with your baby! So life goes, the sublime next to the fundamental. 😆 We too had a mini heatwave here. Four or five days of it and too hot for me to enjoy, but it has passed now and I’m glad to say the days are cooler. In fact we have had some rather gloomy and wet ones, it almost feels like autumn is already hovering in air. Lovely to visit with you. ❤️

I'm enjoying the Mandala crochet so much and seeing the possibilities for overlay crochet starting to unfold in my own thinking. It's wonderful! And yes! Autumn is coming swiftly for us here. I feel it may even be a full month ahead this year. It's been such a strange year for the weather.
I have to ask, what do you do with your magpie treasures after you show them to us? Obviously they don't stay in the basket, but do you still keep them around your house?
Most of them get returned back to nature, which is not very hard as we live in the woods. But one or two will remain in the studio or cottage, as permanent residents. 😊🙏🏾
