Your mention of Korea just brings so much nostalgia. I lived in Seoul in the early 2000s and would shop a lot in Dongdaemun. I was still in the beginning of my knitting “career” when I came to the end of my time there and still miss it to this day over 12 years later.
I don't knit from a particular container, but i am often knitting at my desk--I have three little friends. A plushie school mascot I bought because he seemed lonely in the shop (the last one left), a mini crab squishmallow my friend bought me inspired by an inside joke (I called a coloring page of a crawdad a crab), and a minihusky squish I got for my fiance, which is a miniature of a medium size husky squish I own--just a reminder that even though he lives far away right now, he is always going to return, and someday never have to leave again. Sometimes, my cat Hazel sleeps on the desk with me, too!
Oh it sounds like a delightfully cozy setup Erin! I especially love the sound of the squishmallow crabby 🥰 and as someone who lived apart from my own beloved for years and went through an entire pregnancy and giving birth without him by my side, let me tell you that these days of of being apart will make your union even stronger when that separation finally ends 💙

I love to draw and craft (knitting as well but I'm not so good at it) so now as I'm making a drawing for one of my family member I'm watching/listening your videos and they give me so much inspiration. To introduce myself: I am a 22 years old girl living in a very old house sorrunded by a beautiful big garden. As this property is in a town I'm so happy that we have garden. I think nature is so important to maintain the balance in our life. I would really live in a forest like you and your family it must be so nice. You asked us to tell whether we have little creatures in our project bags. I have a little felted octopus on top of my wardrobe it looks directly to my drawing table. Besides my table is sorrunded by lots of plants they are bringing me joy and cosy feeling when I sit down among them. Furthermore I have three small pet rats one white, one silvery grayish and one planck-white spotted. I brought them home when they were babies from a reptile farm as they were kept for food to the snakes. Since than they make my life so happy and it's always joyful to se them and play with them.
