I truly have no words...what a creative mind. I'll at least give one word... OUTSTANDING!!!!!!
I found this truly uplifting and inspirational! (thats a rarity with short films) I found myself feeling sad that I wouldnt be there to see it happen.
Very beautiful. 10% of earthlings are in elite settlements , 90% of earthlings are in slums . A bright future .
Not too far from the present...
And that would be the problem here. You think in 2400 slums would have been eliminated and the human race would have evolved to wipe out poverty. Sadly not the case.
Nice animations
Cool! 10/10 UK
So in 600 years Mars will look like earth today, guess earthlings will never learn.
beautiful but it lacks a story.
WOW nice visuals but NO STORY AT ALL...
We've become unimaginable if like others in the comments convey that it has no story. It is Science Fiction Fantasy. Before video, there was a good book. And yes I do believe. Without a storyline, there is no books. Yet the imagery tells the story in its conceptions of the artists intent. It looses simplicity if widely elaborated...
I like it because it tells the same story I fantasized as a sci fi reader. I must admit though some SciFi books were so elaborate that I became lost in the heady world of the author like Issac Asimov "Foundation Trilogy" It was so long... I need to give it a try again...
This movie is better than the movie theater!
Love this short film....and music!!! Hopefully in future humans won't drag ancient baggage with them when colonizing planets.
No story. Kind of like a video game into. Cool graphics. Expected to end with. "You awake not knowing who you are an must find the rebels and lead them to defeat the evil empire."
This is a channel more people need to come to
Cool movie
Well there’s 11 minutes of my life wasted on a cgi project, no story, no plot....
I think earth 2 says it all, needed a 2 nd bc we ruined the first one, over populated over consumed over produced waste and ate it alive we didnt even have the decency to offef it a percocet for the pain!!!
Agree. This one is much better, even though it doesn't have any plot either. It conveys an idea though: people can fly :) czcams.com/video/UUL7GajdbpA/video.html
That's the Universe. And Reality! There IS no story and no plot. Just the ones we try to make.
, Right , Nothing But CGI....Just like all the video/photos the Public gets to see From NASA, & all the other Space Agencies of the world.
@@judy4792 this Earth YAHWEH Destroys with 🔥, It MELTS!
When He Creates the New afterwards, Earth will be a Perfect paradise as our Earth was ment to be before Satan caused our fall.

One word Jennifer. WOW!!
!!YAAAAA!! ESTÁN AQUÍ 👾👾👾👽👽👽👈😲😲😲😲😲😲
Dreams...JUST......
Interesting and visually very impressive! - checking out your other stuff now . . very nice . . and more things to watch!
Visually stunning
Beautiful rendering
Zero story telling,
This just seems to be a horrific view of a future where the ant-people of the cities all want to live in giant hives.
I am left without a clue as to whether the writer/director thinks this is a good future or decent into hell.
It lacked a story but it was a nice way to showcase some sci-fi eye candy. Great visuals.
Fantasy is fun.
Reminds me of that scene in the Matrix where the agent interrogates Morpheus and describes the human race as a Virus. A disease. A plague... Can't say I refute his logic.
Earth2 was a TV show in the 90s
Remember that?
This looks amazing viewed on OLED truly unique, the night time city scenes mind blowing contrast!
Yeah I was blown away by the citys with OLED,soooo deep
sad.
really nice effects, no story, boring till the last frame.
please, advice us BEFORE and not after seeing.
cosmic emptiness
I see a lot of negative feedback here but for me personally even if most don't see this becoming reality it is a source of inspiration, hope and wonder for the future and I thank you for these awesome visuals Jennifer it's beautiful, keep em coming 👽
Great music!!!
Earth2 looked like an awesome place ! Amazing architecture and not a single minaret to be seen . How nice!!
Awesome,?? There were no trees and no woods! How can that be awesome ??????
Well, there's another eleven minutes of my life shot to hell.
GREAT, WE ENTER MARS AND ALREADY LEAVING TRASH BEYOND.
WE MUST PRESERVE OUR PLANET FIRST.
WITHOUT EARTH WE HAVE NOTHING.
trump
Yeah right.
the key of course is to END capitalism self destruction and replace it with human population reduction and control, the abolishment of designed obsolescence, the end of the production of trash and waste for profit, the MANDATORY implementation of renewable energy sources, the end to human slavery and environmental exploitation and STOPPING the police-state. these will NEVER be achieved as long as there's an elite and their greed of profiteering from evil remains the world's economic model. and the elite WON'T relinquish their power and corruption UNLESS we make them!
exactly
Idealistic rubbish
Great idea. Having screwed up our own planet let’s see how many others we can ruin.
Beautifull!
I like
It was "BEAUTIFUL" I loved the city buildings colors were amazing and a comment was made about the video had no story but it did if you didn't feel the music in your or the colors flowing and the city was awesome I felt I was there on the spacecraft with my "PRINCESS" who was just crowned our new leader.
Very well made film, just very sad, no tree's or vegetation.
It starts badly; the title was a 90's television show, and rapidly goes down hill from there. There goes three minutes of my time I will never get back.
Cry me a river.
Good
No comment👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing 👏👏
Great job Dust, we don't need another planet we need to change if we find another planet we would be carrying our problems of poor ability to manage our basic emotions and our lock of ability to adapt to a measured consumption of natural resources. We would destroy any place we colonize, earth was created to sustain life and it's not too late to develop a sense of respect for the natural resources by closing all oil extraction right away because fossil fuels are no longer needed for the development of society.
....huh? wa? Oh, I must have drifted off.
Beautiful but lacks a story you'll do great In (Hollyweird) los angeles.
Evocative sound and visuals !!
Wow!!! Love it!!! :)
Beautiful
another great job all of your work seems to be very thoughtfull and the music blends so well with the video
Thank you so much. I'm presently working on an 8K SciFi HDR film. Hopefully rendering will be done soon and post it in January. Is rendered in IMAX 8K. Thx.
Very cool. Nicely done.
Beautiful visuals
Unbelievable! Love to see how you do this work
6:29 so beautiful, awesome music too..
Magnificent
Beautifully done
Superb . .
That looked cool, kinda like Blade Runner crossed with Tron. Would have made a good commercial for John Player.
Well done! A bit short but very classy!
10 out of 10
Who reads the comments before watching? ME!
I read them a few seconds into the film, often ruining the ending for myself
Funny, I do, almost as a rule now. Lately, I’ve been really getting into Alien and Star Wars Lore documentaries and almost without fail I’ll get absolutely absorbed in the comments to glean additional details and conversations, and it’s always “just one more, then I’ll start the video.” Sometimes for hours, on a 9 minute doc.
It’s getting a little sad, though, engaging in conversations (good) that are often 5-6 years old (sad). At least I don’t sit there strumming my fingers, waiting on a reply, so there’s that.
Huh. Kinda like now.
Beautiful work. I'd like to see a full length Odyssey movie.
Well I didn't think much of what they turned Mars into. Nor did I get the point of the woman looking out the window.
Very nice video. Well done 👍👍👍👍
You sure seem sure it won't be a grimdark 30K or 40K Warhammer nightmare. Hehe :)
Your video was in a list that shared the newest fan made Death of Hope, so i checked it out. Nice stuff.
Good luck and have fun.
Ah, yes - the old "terraforming machines".
Q: How do they work?
A: They terraform planets.
Q: Yes - but how?
A: They just fucking terraform planets, okay?
It seems the more we process foods, the less we’re nourished, the more the CGI, the less the narrative. That said, like CGI, processed foods aren’t all bad.
cool
Jennifer simple amazing WOW
[ ∞ ] Jennifer Gala You've one's visions of future that to come the heart to throat ♥️🌌NICE FOR INFINITÎ
Your video is great
It's only a matter of time before life killing asteroid hits Earth. This mission gives humanity hope.
like the fiction..... and we see that the programming is continued into some 'future'.... good the media will find they have not missed a beat ;)
Nice video
There is no real need to go and try and inhabit other worlds, the one we have here would be perfect if we just cared for it, utilised all the alternative energy we have and the enormous land and sea space that's available. Earth can easily accommodate man for hundreds of millions of years IF we are smart and stop strangling the damn thing. Would be far easier to 'terraform' the Sahara and other uninhabited spaces on our own planet, the Oceans have vast spaces where it would be a lot easier and cost efficient to create undersea cities and communities. There is plenty of room here for mankind we just have to be clever with our science and we can live here for eons. Maybe a few thousand years from now man might have developed faster than light travel and then we can seek out planets that are already suitable for life without trying to create atmospheres and magnetic belts...then again for F we've perfected living under the sea there is always our conveniently located Moon upon which to build colonies.
The "hope" of colonizing other worlds is not so much about overpopulation exhausting Earth's resources as it is about preserving the race of mankind through dispersal to other worlds and star systems... Ultimately, other galaxies as well. We can see in the Earth's own planetary surface, as well as that of other planets in our solar-system, ample evidence of extra planetary mass impacts. Natural disasters, catastrophic wars, and other threats to human existence endanger the continuance of the human race and, the best solution to safeguarding humanity's existence lies in off-world colonization. It is the most reasonable thing for mankind to do. We must continue to develop plans and operational systems for colonizing other worlds. We dream of reaching out into the stars and, the worlds and resources that they hold beckon us to come and develop them and make them our own. Expansionism is in our DNA: I feel the call of the stars, don't you?
If I may add, I would further propose that, if other forms of intelligent life are out there, traveling between the stars, they are following their expansionist, race preserving ambitions as well. If they are hostile toward other space faring sentient beings, I'd rather we'd run into them out there, among the stars of other worlds, than to find them one day in orbit around our planet, seeking to transform it into a world more suitable to their liking for habitation, despite our pathetic isolationist pleas and protestations to their plans.
If you terraform, or I assume make green, the Sahara Desert, then the Amazon Rain Forest will die. The reason being that the soil in the Amazon is thin and nutrient poor. The dust blown off from the dried lake beds in the Sahara desert travel across the Atlantic Ocean and fertilize the Amazon. This has been known for a long time. This is what makes possible the lush greenery. When the Sahara was green, the Amazon was grasslands.
the key of course is to END capitalism self destruction and replace it with human population reduction and control, the abolishment of designed obsolescence, the end of the production of trash and waste for profit, the MANDATORY implementation of renewable energy sources, the end to human slavery and environmental exploitation and STOPPING the police-state. these will NEVER be achieved as long as there's an elite and their greed of profiteering from evil remains the world's economic model. and the elite WON'T relinquish their power and corruption UNLESS we make them!
Iamgort, you are damn right!!!
What you describe sounds more like slavery in a totalitarian state. All for the good of the planet, of course.
As has been said to Many "you are NOT SPIRITUALLY READY STILL"
Video and sound fine.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a new movie to come out with this aspect though.
I want to see futuristic ideas of how Mars or any other planet we terraform may look, and us, actual day to day living. I LOVED Mars the movie so much but I want more.
Even short stories would work.
If anyone knows of good videos in that sense, tell me about them, I'd love to see those!
If only we could maneuver in the vacuum of space ....
i like this short film
All exposition and no story. Nicely done, but exposition must take a back seat to story for it to be truly evocative. Translation: you could have used a real human narrator or two rather than the deus ex machina data dump you used. And there was no real story aside from the description of the founding of this off-Earth colony. Some sort of story progression would have sealed the deal. If the makers are reading my comment, please don't get too upset at my criticism. I enjoyed watching your film. But your video quite effectively set the stage for a narrative story that never came. But keep it up. You're all obviously quite talented.
Agreed ... hoping filmakers with this much talent will take the critiques and use them to improve on the next venture .. great potential ..
Agreed, and sad because it seemed to have some great potential ... but just ended flat. The last major thought I had was journey to mars starts in 2012 and humans do not arrive until 3 to 4 centuries later. Hmm interesting but why so long. This was not even part of the actual plot, yet that is pretty much my ending thought and ponderment. After that I kept expecting something more to happen or something else to ponder, but it never did and never went beyond the basic plot that we start off with.
I don't want to live on another planet... I it's not gonna happen anyways. Man wants to explore the ideas...but think about it... It takes years to get there and there's nobody out there. No partying, no men, no women, no trees, no public restaurant, no nothing!! THAT'S REALLY EXCITING TO LIVE THERE!!!
Terra-forming another planet? Why Don't we terraform Earth? No we just destroy it.
Snowflake Triggered
I agree since all humanity can all fit in the state about the size of Texas with 100 square feet available to each person maybe we should put our resources into the uninhabited parts of the Earth. I'm not talkin rainforest and tearing stuff down. But I think we are smart enough to figure out how to live on our own planet and make our deserts bloom. I guess people are just too lazy. Rich people just keep throwing money at the problem because they really don't have a care in the world. They're set. And mean with our satellites we can see old trails like the Silk Road, we could see old ancient dried-up River beds all over the Sahara and Australia but we could also see where there is still water in the deserts of the world. Israel was a wasteland comparable to a third world country until the Jews came and made their Desert Bloom. A country that small in that dry of a region is one of the top exporters of produce and fruit in the world. They perfected drip irrigation which change the whole game. I will never understand the Africans that live in these places with no food and no water. The animals had enough sense to follow the water and food. All We Do is throw money at people who live in arid regions and are dehydrated. Maybe it's time for some knowledge to be passed along. Learn how to do go dig a well, learn how to water your crops properly. And obviously you would have to see if the environment that you are in is survivable without outside assistance. But I guess I will never know because I don't live there and I don't have to experience what they have to experience. It has to be horrible but I guess that's why it's our job to teach instead of throwing money at them or crappy food.
the key of course is to END capitalism self destruction and replace it with human population reduction and control, the abolishment of designed obsolescence, the end of the production of trash and waste for profit, the MANDATORY implementation of renewable energy sources, the end to human slavery and environmental exploitation and STOPPING the police-state. these will NEVER be achieved as long as there's an elite and their greed of profiteering from evil remains the world's economic model. and the elite WON'T relinquish their power and corruption UNLESS we make them!
@@cjmacq-vg8um #yanggang for this change
@@bechillin1234 ... thanks. you know I never understood the use of "hashtags." could you please explain them to me.
It's what we call a shake and bake colony... Takes decades to transform a planet. You need several automated atmospheric processors to make a rock viable for colonization.
And you done this how many times?
I'm confident we'll have the ability, barring a few major world crisis, to have full settlements on Mars within 100 years, terraforming or not. In 300 years? easily a couple ten thousand residents or so.
This looks bangin in 144p
That was an enjoyable experience. Amazing audio and visuals. :) :) :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@jennifergala Very much :)
great scenery, i really like the music it really fit the video ambiance i wish i can compose great space music like this, i did little space music in 1984, for what i understand you are a multi talented artist Jennifer Athena Galatis, great creativity...
Mario Lalande Thank you so much.
tank's for quick responde here a link for my only tape cassette (space music) left 1984 done bck then at 22 of age never learn to play music, but inspire from sci-fi movie music czcams.com/video/9B3kQKTITFE/video.html i did not my real name back then i was shy a little i guest thank a lot.
Good film.
So mankind crawled out of a pool of goop and evolved to do this? Im supposed to beileve that!?

Awesome job Art majors! This is a two thumbs up.
Wwwwoooowwwwwwww
Tnx. Need some more videos
This looked beyond amazing on my 5th gen iPad Pro with its mini led display at 1600 nits brightness.
300 years to Terraform Mars. More realistic than Star Trek
Good theatrical, however needed a strong and compelling storyline to give it life.
Nothing, bar nothing lasts forever.
When you say it took 300 years to terraform Mars, what makes you think humans could wait so long?
I like your video, well done!
I subscribed too. Thank you again for a cool and yes excellent video. Hope to see more of your work.
I just know that someday in the far far future, aliens will come to the earth long after our demise, and start digging through our remains, and ask themselves, who were these people?
By then, they will ask themselves,
Why did we created this dudes ?
Mars in the beginning looked like Socorro, New Mexico
Nice use of HDR for story telling ... something other than for selling TVs and making travellogues look stunning, not that I mind the latter.
Who is she ?
Seems Interesting 😊😊😊😊😊😊
