The New Gaston and Calvet have finally redeemed themselves.
Is the new Calvet like the New Doug in Ragnarok?
I feel like this clip had Sharpe's first neck break move. He really is an action hero.
Too bad they didn't throw in the amazing rock music from season 1 that played whenever he acted heroic.
Stoping a guard from ringing bell... with a loud gun.
There’s something very Bond-like about this scene. It’s a combination of breaking out of prison during a siege and killing some inept guards in the process while elsewhere Toby Stephen’s is allowing hubris to get the better of him with some misplaced maniacal gloating.
Now Thats Gloating!!
@@daverage4729 haha!!!
I think those guards were supposed to be thugs which was a murder cult in india who choked people to death. At least, thats the impression I got
@@finaladvance5085 they are, probably, thuggies were quite common in that era,as far as i know
Well, that's Alec Trevelyan breaking out of prison while Gustav Graves is flirting.
Sharp has escaped.
"It's of little consequence."
*Spoiler*
It's a major consequence.
Lieutenant Colonel Consequence, actually.
I'd say it's more a *colonel* consequence.
...
...
...
... I'm not apologizing.
Well, let's hope this won't become a General consequence :)
Even without Sharpe, that was a stupid call.
I see what you did there. That was a pretty Sharpe joke.
But seriously, how does this arc end? There is no way Sean Bean can win, he's too outnumbered and in enemy territory.
Using explosive shots instead of canister against an enemy less than 50 feet away? That's not soldierin'! Thats not soldierin' at all!
they seem to be using Cosgrove rockets as well!
@@SantomPh other way 'round...Congreve based his work on rockets developed by Mysorean engineers working for Tipu Sultan in the mid 18thC and captured by the British.
@@rej1960 yeah, they were based on Mysore rocket launchers, such a shame that, they were inaccurate
explosive shots... are not a thing
@@JohnsonTheSecond But they are Sir Johnson, but they are.
If you wonder how Sharpe got the pistol, Bonnet (french man who made talk with Sharpe, the Colonel's RHM) gave him the pistol.
Thanks! I was curious about that. It seemed rather fortuitous, lol!

Sharpe has Earned an Achievement:
*Hard R Rating*
Seriously they had to have the child get blown up.
Gotta keep the lifespan of junior officers realistically short.
Sharpe’s Company had two of ‘em killed on screen.
it's almost a tradition to get young Ensigns killed in Sharpe- from poor Denny to this young lad
Realism
I'm happy the french guys became allies with sharpe and pat
Harper used pocket sand! It was super effective!
Sharpe is so tough he can survive being played by Sean Bean
kid: forlorn hope, ONWA-
artie: fuggoff, kid.
Reminds me of rising storm 2

Breaking out of prison and aiding your forces? Thats soldiering
It's about time the French did something bloody useful
Oh comon now they did some useful stuff
Makes a change
@@sten1703 yeah, walking toward Sharpe in a nice straight line of tight packed men so he can kill a bloody lot of them before the rest turn tail and run, giving Welsley reason to promote Sharpe yet again for another damned fine victory!
Cal H how about that time they helped him prove his innocence after Ducos framed him for a murder?
I see Harper is well versed in the art of Pocket Sand.
there is sand on the ground
@@SantomPh King of the hill refrence, mate
The Lockpicking lawyer would be pleased with sharps skill :D
Sharpe was actually an ancestor of the Lockpicking Lawyer
“This is the Lockpicking Major, today we have a-“ “Sir, what the devil are you talking about?”
My, the challenges are really intense on this season of Top Chef.
The Lock Picking Lawyer would be proud 😂, well done Sharpe😊
Two bond villains and an Irish man....something....something.
@Richard I can see the poster now, Harper front and centre in a tux and his volley gun in hand. Sharpe to the left of him, dodds to the right. The title...On His Majesty East India Company
Being a part of the forlorn hope, that’s soildering
A new sharp video About time !
1:15 Sharp whips a Handgun out his bum and shoots from the hip and kills the guy that wonders why he heard he prison cells open. #NowThatsSoldiering

Joining Sharpe and Harper? Now that is turn coating!
Looks like Sharpe picked up something useful from Cooper. Pun intended
he was raised a guttersnipe in London and Yorkshire, he pretty much knew that already
"It's hard to trust a man who wants to borrow yourpick-lock."
Maybe I missed the part where they forgot to take his gun before they put him in prison.
Company troops charging a fort, now that's sepoying
Sharpe picking that lock like LPL, bottom of the keyway tension and all
Street Fighting; Sharpe & Harper style!
Working with the bloody frogs?!? That's Sharpein
2:39 nice Goldeneye sound effect there
Im going to be sad when this is over :(
Sharpe has escaped, we are doomed.
Imagine being the sarge/officer to die standing in front attempting to muster courage in the soldiers. Must be an ironic death.
Letting your prisoners keep a pistol. That's jailing
The French officer gave it to him, it just wasn't shown.
The white-robed dudes were those Sharpe drilled before duelling with Dodd, right?
Shows that you just can't trust the French
Also the looks on those senior British officers who were thinking that this isn't going well . Must have been such a difficult experience and my heart goes out to them
they're East India Company troops as well
Respecting the rules
That's soldering
I do like how he didn't pull it out of his ass like he did in the book
but where did that gun come from? ;-)

@Richard hahahahaha
In India the French are actually human
Up the sepoys!
I wish sharpe series did missions with the Sikh regiment 🤷♂️
Sharpe never served with any Sikh Regiment. Even these movies are redoings of the prequel novels in India when he was a Sergeant .
They didn't have many Sikh regiments in the east india company until later, furthermore Sharpe only served with these regiments in action, the 33rd where he joined up, the 48th Highlanders and finally the second battalion 95th rifles
@@terrorfire8505 there weren't any Sikh Regiments at this time.
The Sikh's were an independent Kingdom until the 1840's, when they surrendered to the British.
And Sharpe never served with the 48th, which also wasn't a Highland Regiment, they came from Northamptonshire.
After his promotion to Ensign he served with the 74th (Highland) Regiment of Foot.
1:15 did they... did they let him keep his pistol?
2.40 How satisfying! Watching that monster killed with the same nail used to execute Captain Lawrence and other British soldiers.
is the young boy ok😢
how he evern in prison?
The padding down of Sharpe and harper was a fail.
How did the guards miss the pistol in his belt.
This is a training issue. 🤔
1:14 Who doesn't allow a prisoner to keep a pistol on them?
The flag the British soldiers are carrying looks American.
Where the hell did Sharpe get the pistol? How convenient
Bonnet gave him it when they Sharpe and Harper were locked in the cell.
if any of these guys stabbed the heoes with the spears instead of swinging wide the heroes would be dead.
Wait how the hell did sharpe get a loaded pistol the second he steps out of the jail cell?
apparently he already had it behind his back? weird
Seems the French don't understand the words "covering fire"...
Looks like The same flag was used during the American Revolutionary war
I noticed that too. Why is the British Army using the Continental Colors? That standard was adopted by the Continental Congress as the first US flag. General Washington fought under that flag for almost 2 years. So, what am I missing? Did the producers accidentally use the wrong prop?
How come sharpes locked in a cell with a loaded pistol,?
This should be another one of my funny review comments, but it seems PooTube censored it for no reason. What gives Goolag?
i wonder what happen to that kid who lead all the indians to war
All I’m saying, for “professional strongmen” as Harper calls them earlier in the ep those dudes look weak af could you not have found any even slightly athletic actors lmao
they are bigger than most men and were known to hammer nails into people's heads. They didn't need to look athletic, they were huge aleady.
Strongmen tend to be fattier actually, athletics have nothing to do with strength, a good layer of fat is good
@@zyanidwarfare5634 yes power lifters and strongmen have higher body fat... they also have arms that aren’t about 6 inch diameter biceps lmao these guys do not get the “strongmen be thicc” defence XD
Why are British troops carrying an old Continental Army United Colonies flag?
It's the east india company's flag
The East india company had their own army at this point and was basically a governing power in mostly southern India
it looks very similar to the East India Company's flag or the Grand Union Flag. It's not the Continental Army's flag, which has 13 stars on it.
@@SantomPh After a certain point in the war, yes. Before that, they used the United Colonies flag, which had 13 red and white stripes and the Union Jack in the upper corner.
@@kettch777
l think that the East lndia Company's flag had 15 red/white stripes.
Your flag has 13.
The book was better, as usual.
there is no book. The last two episodes are based on the prequel books with names and situations changed. The young rajah here is supposed to be the Tippoo Sultan.
@@SantomPh
Wasn't this set loosely on like some of the novels?
@@SantomPh A lot of the events shown happened in the first few books that took place in India.

Richard im saying you should not say it becuase it could be offensive to others, think about others and not just yourselves and your own worries
