    Is it easy to remove the spray on? Want to test but remove if unsatisfied.

    Haven't seen a demo yet of the boom mat spray...would love to know how it performs.

      I can tell you with great certainty, it DOES have an odour to it. I have been airing out my car for a couple days now. Granted I used the entire can in my trunk and not just in "hard to reach" areas because it looked really good. As for performance, it looks like undercoating and I plan on using the Kilmat sound deadening mats for the trunk as well before I put liner and subwoofers back in my trunk.

    i bought 3 cans of the boom mat spray cause it said each can covers 20 square feet .. about the size of a house door coverage..to do my interior of my 1969 javelin ....thought well thats about 3 doors worth......started spraying ...i got my interior firewall and the driver passenger floor and barely any on the trans tunnel.........3 cans 60 square feet ---bought 3 more and did the rest of the floor board and touched up all the MISSED spots since it covers about 5 square feet a can........you Probably need 10 cans 160$ worth correctly

    *Hi. Great video. Question: ¿¿Are you not worried that you are increasing the heat temperature inside the general area of the engine compartment, which can cause damage to components in the future???*
    *If I understand correctly the physics and thermodynamics of this product, when you add the material underneath the hood, and with the aluminized surface FACING DOWN TOWARDS THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, then ALL THE HEAT PRODUCED BY THE ENGINE (AND OTHER PARTS AND COMPONENTS WHILE YOU DRIVE YOUR CAR) WILL TRY TO REACH THE ATMOSPHERE BY MEANS OF RADIATION THROU THE HOOD, BUT BECAUSE THE HOOD IS NOW BLOCKED WITH THIS ISOLATION MATERIAL WITH A REFLECTIVE SURFACE, ALL HEAT RADIATION COMING FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT, WILL BE REFLECTED BACK TO THE ENGINE AND COMPONENTS, WHICH WILL INCREASE THE HEAT TEMPERATURE INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.*
    *IS IT WORTH TO PROTECT THE PAINT OF THE HOOD METAL, WHILE INCREASING THE RISK TO DAMAGE YOUR ENGINE AND COMPONENTS (LIKE COMPUTER) DUE TO THE INCREASE OF HEAT TEMPERATURE INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT??*
    *My very best regards*

    "Dampening material" huh.. what are you trying to get wet?! I'm pretty sure you mean "damping"..

    • @dwilbu00
      @dwilbu00 Před 6 lety +10

      No they mean dampening, to dampen means "to make less strong or intense."

      Nothing could dampen her enthusiasm.
      Nothing could reduce/lessen her enthusiasm.
      Words can have different uses based on context, dampening is not being incorrectly used here.

      I really don’t understand your problem with this. I went to Webster’s definition per your comment, and one use of dampen as a transitive verb is “to check or diminish the activity or vigor of”. Oxford dictionary says a use of dampen is: “2.1Reduce the amplitude of (a sound source)”.

    I got the boom mats and it literally destroyed any bass and sucked it in, once I took them off I had my bass back, they are awful and overpriced
