This mobile repairing course online is about how to fix a water damage iPhone.
How to fix an iPhone 7 that has been wet with sea water. In this video we are going to repair an iPhone A1660 that does not start because of the humidity. It is a video a little bit longer than normal but where we show you all the steps for do the right cleaning.
Step 1: Disassembly the iPhone completely.
Step 2: Look under the microscope for the motherboard, possible humidity, rust, motherboard damage, short circuit, burned components.
Step 3: Insert the motherboard into the ultrasonic washer.
Step 4: Clean the base plate manually + cleaning with isopropyl alcohol.
Step 5: We clean the connectors and the motherboard manually.
Step 6: With a heat gun dry the motherboad, 10 minutes 50º.
Step 7: We put the motherboard plus the components.
Step 8: check the correct functionality of the phone. - Věda a technologie

This is a great video and has built my confidence in repairing my phone. I have dropped my 7plus into a fresh water pool. Have cracked it open and placed in rice for 48 hours. Device needed a restore and it now boots.
Only issues now are the home button won't work but Touch ID still works, and the volume buttons don't work and can't play sound. Any ideas?? Thanks in advanced!

Phone fell to bottom of pool. Back cam is blurry and screen occasionally starts to glitch. The Home button also doesn't work. I can clearly see some sort of water residue at the bottom right corner of the phone / screen. Any help?

Hi I dropped my in water and took it to a drybox near me everything works fine except both camera and flash light as they only display a black screen. Can I repair the camera and flashlight myself or a shop if it's possible?

oh good.. i did some research and found out that this product is used for cleaning, thanks. What if yi didnt use the ultrasonic cleaner... its one thing getting a brush and a bottle of isopropol alcohol but i dont think i could get this machine just for one board...
For a correct cleaning it is necessary to use ultrasonic cleaner.
Phinnix Ultrasonic cleaners are fairly inexpensive.

Seeing your video makes me feel a chance get my phone back , got soaked in ocean water , the screen is blacked out , when someone calls or texts I hear the sounds , I connected to my iTunes it does pick it up however the home button doesn’t recognize my finger to unlock it in order to able to access my iPhone 7 through iTunes to back up the data , any suggestions ?

hello, my iphone 7 plus got into water and now wont turn on. I opened it and cleaned out the logic board with alcohol, however i didnt pull the black sticker. Do i have to pull that out and then clean it? after cleaning the board it still wont turn on. and is it possible to clean it manually with a brush instead of the ultra sonic? Thank you

I was going to fix my phone but when I tried to follow the steps - I ripped the lower connector bracket as soon as I opened up the phone. Step 1 - already fail. Guess I better leave phone fixing to the experts.

There are so many issues with this video. Do you really remove batteries by PRYING them out like that ? What cleaning fluids are you using ? Why did you not test the screen electrically, after all its been in water ? Why no commentary , after all is this not part of some form of repair course ?
I would be interested to know how the cameras were before disassembly and how the connectors were cleaned.. I feel this video was aimed at getting the phone to boot up rather than a full repair..

please be very careful the maker of this video has put many steps out of order, or just plain missing. There is a screw holding the mother board that is missing a step in this video, many screws and connection plates are not shown being put back in, or being put back in in an order which requires you to take off screws and components (such as the camera there are two screws and a connection plate in the top right which are not in the correct order. please be careful many screw and connection plates are needed for data transmission, either know what your are doing very well or find a better video.

I dropped my iPhone somewhat hard but in an otterbox case, hard enough that I was like DAMN! thank god I have the otterbox. The phone was absolutely fine, until it died from low battery. I have been unable to charge the phone or turn it on, took it to the apple store. they check it LCI and sure enough its red so I cannot get a new iPhone. They say its water damage. ive had my phone in rice for 4 days, and it still refuses to respond to charge or turn on at all. No apple logo, no flash screen, no lines, no response period. I would really appreciate any advice, thank you!

no one go to this store. its a very bad sign when the person unplugs the battery after the screen is already disconnected. it makes me cringe seeing it. everytime i take off that sheild the first thing i do is unplug the battery
