Bhutan Mahseer Fishing Trip 2019

First of all, apologies for not being regular with my posts. This Video was long over due. FWA in collaboration with @travelmadnessbhutan made a short trip to some of the pristine waters of Bhutan. Though our target species was Golden Mahseer, landing Copper Mahseer was fun. Special Thanks to @travelmadnessbhutan (Mr. M B Lama) and Mr. Deven Gurung (Forest Officer, Govt of Bhutan) who made my stay exceptionally comfortable and helped me seek some of the most beautiful wild mahseer. The trip is dedicated to FWA family.

Does the bait Lure varies between Copper Mahseer and the Golden Mahseer?

@Innovative Soul According to my personal experience GM and CM both go for lures (spinners and Artificial plug baits) that mimic local bait fish. But as I said elsewhere water condition, abundance of smaller bait fish and picking right time of the year has a bigger role to play in actually making them take our lures/baits. I guess you can call this "match the hatch strategy". Happy fishing👍
