LOL, i remember 2 seasons ago Spurs team were trying their best to help Son scoring as many goals as possible because he was on the golden boot race, and here they are jackson and madueke trying to steal a penalty from Palmer knowing he's on the golden boot race.
Fr
we make fun of spurs but their players are so professional all around , but the likes of jackson and noni seem to be thinking they are on the streets and their mentality is like that and they will always be players who never get to a professional point and thats on dumb american spending millions on this trashy players
and golden boot award will not only affect the player but the club also
Well said
I just saw this exact same comment over on r/soccer. You’re either the same user on both platforms or someone’s copied and pasted this. Shameless behavior, lads.
For all the kids online this might not be a big deal but it is, Poch needs to get these players united if he ever wants to succeed
All fax. No printer
Huge deal. It just says a lot about where hese players heads are at. This would never happen at City or Arsenal for example. Never in 100 years. Not even on the fact it looks horrible, but because everyone is pulling for the team first. This incident right here says a whooooole lot.
That’s right we need all the players to have their confidence and in good shape to achieve the quest. CP is the taker no doubt but he should have given to his teammates as they need it too which can be really helpful to regain their confidence. M not saying he must give it but it would been great if he had given it away to his teammates as he already had hat-trick
@@Jenzenkarma palmer is on his golden boots race, why should he give them?
@@goated6146which Arsenal?
Well done for calling that out. School boy stuff.
This showed me that maybe poch isn’t the problem maybe it really is an attitude problem.
The club have signed too many overplayed players on long contracts with no strategy. Poch is doomed as is the club
Isn't it his job to fix that then? He should just bench those guys next game. They have so many players he can play without them.
It’s a side essentially full of super-talented kids with not enough older heads to control the chaos.
Fighting over the penalty was incredibly embarrassing… IMO Jackson/Noni should start off the bench against Arsenal.
The next games keep Jackson and Noni on the bench .Let them learn a club is bigger than your personal ego.
He can only do so much with tje players.they have. They sold every academy potential and bought random hyped up no names from fm24
U cant do that. Ofc players dont care they do not know the chelsea way.@@stevendebruijn576
That actually got we the fans fuming, Noni and Jackson must grow up we all know is Cole Palmer is designated penalty taker and we love it like that
How about being a team player and let other ones score after the hat-trick has been completed?

very unprofessional. When Lampard was the penalty taker nobody would dare do what Jackson and noni did.
Let's not forget HOW Palmer also became the "designated" penalty taker, by taking away the ball from Sterling. This is what happens in a weak team without a structure. The fact that a 20 year old in his first season can just be a penalty taker shows how weak Chelsea have become

Drogba did same with frank lampard 2010 under ancelotti.. drogba was fighting for the golden boot and lamps was the regular pen taker.. Embarrassing but it does happen even with senior players especially when personal interest overrides the collective good
This is the main problem we have at Chelsea right now. Football is a team game, but there is a lot of selfish players in tht squad and its very evident when they play. Some times its easier to play an open man but they choose to shoot and miss. Noni, Jackson and Sterling are the top culprits. we need to end this now.
The problem is Chelsea fans, look at what you said noni, Jackson and sterling? What about palmer? He looks to shoot alot when passing would be the better option but your fine with that because he is producing but what if the striker was the designated taker then Jackson would have 19 goals and ppl would be talking about how we haven't had a St scoring like this since Costa and then we are having a different conversation. Can't expect these Young men to be team First when all the fans and pundits are quick to single out
@@miguelhackett4352 I am not sure if you have been watching Chelsea games, but if you were You`d agree that the 3 i mentioned are the most selfish. The problem is we don’t have a real leader in the pitch we need someone who can control these kids
@@BibleBitesTV that's the thing I do watch literally all the games, Chelsea was my grandmoms fav team we would watch their games together and since she passed in 2020 I've watched every moment of everything game, preseason included so I know for a fact Jackson isn't selfish in most situations his First instinct is to pass to a teammate even his assist yesterday is proof, he is just easily frustrated and in most cases rightly so because players around him aren't looking for him just trying to get into positions to score
Everyone wants to score because it gives you confidence. A true leader would give this penalty after scoring a hat-trick. Watch Messi do it. However Noni and Jackson were wrong to behave like this and they deserve to be put on the bench and especially Jackson.
How unprofessional.
Even if Cole wasn't the regular taker, at that point he was 1 goal off the Golden Boot position with 5 games to go. Give it to the lad!

This happened vs United aswell. Palmer had the ball on the spot and Madueke was trying to talk him out of it. Pochettino definitely saw it then too. He should have sorted it out then. It's indicative of the lack of organisation in the team and the club. If Palmer is the designated taker then Madueke is clearly the issue here because he clearly has a problem with it.

Poch's response is brilliant here.
No he did not if they knew Cole was the designated penalty taker why did Poch not sort it out.
It’s one thing to ask the designated penalty taker if you can take it, it’s another thing to take the ball and refuse to give it back and cry about it afterwards
Literally
That's some level of immaturity and unprofessional for Jackson and madueke. The knew palmer was the man for the job yet they just went all out.
It is very common for the designated penalty taker to give the penalty to another player who needs the morale boost, particularly when he has an hat-trick and the team is comfortably ahead. The problem is that he or the captain need to make that decision, and not let players fight it off.
Look at Poch, he’s happy as hell the heat is off him a bit… now it looks like the players are the problem 😂😂😂

Good man Cole Palmer. Excellent for Chelsea.. very sensible and mindful about what he says at interviews.

Reprimand these players, teach them discipline and a professional attitude.
people acting surprised big clubs are full of egocentric and childish players... If the small clubs have them, imagine the big ones
Poch come on don’t let the first question be about some little dispute, deal with that on the inside. Interviewer wants to spotlight one minute of internal dispute instead of one of the best performances of the season.
This guy is the definition of a career chaser, he left Man City ro get playing minutes. Went to Chelsea and saved them the season. Hope he makes it to Euros
POCH is right, he knew that these young players with talen but no experience are individualist and want to shine in Chelsea. The passion is good but very immature. Hope Noni and Jackson can score some bangers in FA cup. Jackson we need another such goal man. Hit it. PALMIR COLD!!!!!!
Well that summed up Chelsea's season. Teamwork and playing as one.
Both players had no discussion to claim it.
Nothing serious as for me thats the fire i want to see... Many big players after scoring a hatrick they leave penoties for others to make a mark as well. But they are all kids and fighting for goals otherwise they all gave the best performance ❤
Why everyone said without palmer this club would be be fighting relegation man football is a team not 1 player
The way gilchrist looked at palmer when the European question was asked tells you that there considering to take the spot....
The Nike tick and club badge is sick in the Chelsea top… infact it’s a great kit this season for Chelsea.
Madueke did that nonsense during Manu VS Chelsea game earlier...... Exact replica
The two children SHOULD NOT be in the squad for the Wembley semi final. They should be home that day with a letter for their mum.

Deli ali summed it up well. Nobody was fighting over the spot kick last week in the last minute palmer is your man. He takes them.
You wasn’t seeing Noni and Jackson fighting to take the pen against united.
Madueke was actually for the equalising penalty
1:22 That quote counts for Man United too
Fair play to Palmer for standing up for himself, even pushed one of them away in the chest, like GFTO, you ain't bullying or intimidating me, I'm taking it and I'm scoring it!
I watched the game, very entertaining, but were those other 2 players both wanting to take the ball of Palmer for themselves, or ganging up on him for just one of them to take it?
With the form Plamer is in, already having score PENs this season and red hot again in this game, what in their minds thought it was the right thing to do and manhandle the ball of him, live on TV and take it themselves!
They've got to be mannerised by Poch for this, I thought a Batty/Bowyer scene was about to kick off.
The coach should straighten them before it's too late. You don't expect this sort of behaviour from professionals..

The reality is this is indicative of a bigger problem, players who are immature do not know their role and place and require veteran leadership - so far off from the John Terry days -Also shows they do not fear the manager - some of these players need to be sold on.
