I am driving my third 156 in the Netherlands. I owned Alfa's now for over 20 years. I have owned so many cars before I bought a 156, just as it's the most beautiful sedan design ever. As a young boy, I used to, as a non mechanic, take my Triumph TR3 apart and put it back together with repairs of course. Not one of my 156s gave me a serious issue. No rust on any, only some predictable repairs. And on time a new time belt and waterpomp. I didn't want the Busso, for fuel consumption, besides they are worth a fortune nowadays here. At present, I owe the 2.0 JTS 2004, also no oil burner. Lovely flexible engine, better than I had with the 1.8 TS. If they would take the 156 in production again, I would buy it, as my last car, as I am 76 years of age.

This narrator cant even say ALFA ROMEO properly, I've owned 9 alfas , still and always will be my favorite manufacturer on this planet !!!!
