In 2005 my wife and I took our honeymoon on the Norwegian Star. I saw this routine in person and it still chokes me up. I watch it when I'm feeling sad about the world and it reminds me of all the wonder and mystery there is to behold. Thank you so very much for a treasured memory.

I've been here 100+ times. The sleight of hand is unbelievable. Just dropped down here to the comment section this time to request if it's possible to see an HD version of it someday? Not from this particular performance, but maybe a new one..? I mean, I know all the tricks in this one, so it's not about it, but rather about the fact that this is so beautiful visually yet so low in video quality after 10 years.

It’s such a clean routine. Any experienced sleight of hand practitioners can figure it out but the style and smoothness of this performance is exemplary!

Incredible, I’m fairly certain it was Jaime Allen who I saw do a fabulous rendition to this trick. Hats off to the man himself Shawn Farquhar! When it comes to cards I truly look to real masters like Richard Turner, Lennart Green, Martin A Nash and Roy Walton. I'm sure you will find video of all of them on CZcams.

I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn at the Southeast Magicians gathering in ATL, Sept 2012. He did those same illusions within INCHES of me as I stood in the hall at the convention center...including the "cards-out-of-the-mouth" effect. Stupefying..and he is a absolute prince, to meet. This is probably the best magic trick I've ever seen. Not because it's dazzling or I am fooled, but because it is a mix of incredible skill that certainly was practiced for hours and hours and hours and with that skill, a story. This is basically art, I feel an emotion of beauty, of awe while watching that thanks Shawn.

first time watched this performance it was in 2010 and since then I lost the count of how many times I have watched it. So magical , so beautiful !! i have started doing card magic for the last 6 months as a hobby and the first thing came into my mind if i would be able to find out how this routine was done. finally, yesterday i came to understand all the moves, all the manoeuvres!! Now that's how it's done. Classic ACR with a few other productions, but done so smoothly. The performance totally made the routine unique. AWESOME!
Very few card routines can be described as elegant and beautiful but this is one of them.
A true magician can suspend reality and amaze the audience.

I am blown away each time I watch another video of yours. Like everything, there are levels one achieves in their profession...even in magic. A Master Magician the world has a few here and there sure, but the Master that can smile, actually enjoy their work and others work is a cut above, and you have that. Teller is another, smiling during your trick like he did when he was a child I am sure. USA East Coast tour would be awesome.
My 9th grade biology teacher shared this video with us one day and i remember being absolutely enthralled by this routine. I had the song on my iPod and would think of this when it came up on shuffle. Almost 16 years later (oof), an artist i follow made a cover of the song and the memory came flooding back. Imagine my surprise seeing you're still running this trick, just months ago!

I saw this act as a kid over 15 years ago and it stays with me to this day. Beautiful routine
I know that seeing it once is magic, the second time is an education. With my third through untold number of times I've watched it, the only word I can use is appreciation for the work put into making this routine such a joy to watch. I know what I see you do and for most of it how you do it, but the flawless way you present it and the fun you look to be having is what makes it worth watching again.

I just saw Shawn at the World Magic Seminar close up show and he DESTROYED the audience and even that is an understatement. Are there ANY plans to sell this routine? I would pay almost any price to learn the tricks behind it and how to put it together, even if it's basically wasted money because I just perform for my friends. It's just...gorgeous, and even if you NEVER sell it, thank you for at least showing it.
