I don't understand why Trump wasn't challenged the first time he lied when he came into office. Why wait 3 months before the election. Reporters are going to have to start getting tougher on everyone in office not telling the truth, and the American people are going to have to start doing their homework.Challenge them!

Imagine if every reporter at these events asked him that question, if every time he ignored it and went on to someone else, they asked the same question. The Huffington Post's Senior White House Correspondent S.V. Date tells CNN's Brianna Keilar that he'd waited a long time to ask Trump that question, but told Keilar the key question is why does Trump lie all the time. To me, that's a rhetorical question. He spent his whole life lying. It's how he was brought up. His father taught him that's how you get through life, that's how you win. If you were his age, and grew up in NYC with him in your face every day, you wouldn't wonder why. You may as well ask a bird why it flies. Yes, you can keep asking him, but only as a rhetorical question, to show the public his reaction.
He wouldn't know truth if it bit him you know where. You ask him the wrong questions. He needs to be interrogated not questioned.
He's quite literally the antithesis of everything Washington stood for.
