full respect to Gavaskar, but Man Hardik didn't gave runs to some debutant, man who hit him 3 sixes was MSD who is known for this kind of hitting, In this season only he smashed a speed gun of South Africa Nortje for 20 runs in last over in CSK vs DC fixture. It becomes very difficult for any bowler to execute that yorker perfectly against him if you are not BUmrah or Maling(even they failed sometimes)

They are not either aware of the core issue or they do not want to openly discuss it in public. Hardik Pandya and MI parted ways in 2022 because Pandya got offered captaincy of a new team which went on to become Gujarat Titans. After having a remarkable couple of seasons, Pandya decided he was not getting his worth and wanted the management to hike his fees even though he was under contract for another year and the management did not have to entertain his request. Disagreements and, possibly, nasty arguments ensued. Pandya had to save face after issuing an ultimatum to the team management of Gujarat Titans about deciding to either increase his remuneration or lose him. Enter Mumbai Indians. A deal was brokered. A capable all-rounder was regained by MI. But they got more than they bargained for. Hardik Pandya had started to nurture national captaincy ambitions for a while now. There was going to be a leadership vacuum in the Indian national team once Rohit Sharma steps down from captaincy/ retires as there are several contenders and no one in particular leading that race. What better way to strengthen his claim than to step up as captain of a domestic league which was being captained by Rohit Sharma? The logic is valid. The process was not. There were rumours of falling out between Rohit Sharma Hardik Pandya in addition to disagreements with the team management. Long story short, the transition was not smooth. In addition, to show that he was his own man and did not operate under the shadow of the former captain, he went to the opposite extreme by not only ignoring Rohit’s suggestions but actively demeaning him by body language demonstrations and ordering him to take up fielding positions outside the 30-yard circle just to distance him from mini discussions between overs. Rohit is not the fittest across the turf. He would have been better employed in the slips or somewhere close by. That is just cricketing common sense. But like much else, this also seems to have forsaken him. Before any of you accuse me of being a fanboy of this team or that player, I am just an observer and, dare I say, connoisseur of the game.
