The team management of Mumbai went behind the former captain Rohits back and ousted him. Thats the main issue here. Mumbai Never needed Hardik Pandya especially when he had joined another team they had enough captain materials within their ranks. It was a horrible mistake from the team management

Pathirana wasn't the difference. Csk just had better game plan of not attacking Bumraah and losing wickets to him and MI has bunch of fools trying to take down someone like pathirana who bowls with a crazy action like Malinga that shouldn't even be legal. If MI batted smartly and took down other bowlers like Deshpande and others and didn't attack pathirana and didn't lose 4 wickets to him it would have been an easy chase

Exactly Cameron Green had started scoring runs both in IPL and internationally. It messed up his career as well.
Hardik’s problem is that he isn’t even performing well personally, let alone as a captain. If he could deliver one statement making performance with the ball or bat, the hostilities would die down. But he’s stuck in a toxic cycle where his poor captaincy and performance is causing loses and more jeers from the crowd, which in turn is causing more pressure on him as player and captain. On top of that, the captain he replaced is doing very well with the bat, and the other heir apparent, Bumrah, is still the star performer with the ball.

Talking about the transitions, All the teammates playing under Dhoni acknowledged him. Virat was being acknowledged by Dhoni as well for his hard work, determination and his hunger for Runs. Virat acknowledged Rohit coz these two have been the leaders of Indian batting for the last 15 years.

Did Hardik try to take Rohit's inputs at all. Rohit would have never asked Hardik to bowl death overs and opening overs. Rohit would have said Bumrah should be open bowler and not a bowler who does 11th over onwards.

Mi management didn't do the captaincy transition like others did, they just posted on instagram about the captaincy being given to HP , this is a stupid move if you ask me, in order for the crowd to support MI (majorly RO fans) and not hate HP despite his antics, Rohit should have at least addressed the public saying I'm going to handover the captaincy. Imo HP should have stayed at GT and Mi shouldn't have traded HP. Both are wrong decisions. Though HP is not my favorite player , the hate he receives is too much and it's affecting his cricket. If I'm HP , I'm leaving Mi next season and play somewhere where I can have some mental peace and enjoy my cricket

First point people didn't accept pandya as captain was bcz the transfer of captaincy was not smooth it was not agreed or discussed with Rohit Sharma mark Boucher informed it through a random interview no statement from rohit sharma his wife comments on the interview questions not answered in the pre season interview of the mumbai indians all the questions related to the transfer and captaincy issue were ignored also as a neutral fan it doesn't make sense if you are currently captaining india in all 3 formats and you are forced to not captain the franchise even after what you have given to the team 5 ipl trophies and not to forget how he handled last years mi's weak bowling attack and how they qualified for the playoffs
If MI had Bumrah last year, Gill would not have scored 120 in playoff.

Hardik Pandya as a person is not respected by typical Indian fans, whatever controversy he is been involved in his personal and professional life is not like by typical Indian fans, he cannot be role model for a young guy, that's why he is not respected, you can't expect respect from fans if yourself don't respect your fans, your seniors.
we Indian love people character more than talent, see there are many more people talented than sachin, gavaskar, ponting, Lara, ABD. The basic difference with other world league and IPL is culture. In IPL apart from professional its emotional connect of Fans . And this transfer from GT to MI has many hidden stories about HP demands and money involved. As a Indian fan feels loyalty is above all which is missing in this transition and thats basic issue. As MI follower from season 1 we are ready for Hitman to replace as captain in this IPL or next but the way MI management did all this which triggers the current situation. So basically its all about values that are not maintained by MI management cost HP to face this situation.

Having said that despande and other csk bowlers are obviously better than madhwal and pandya but MI also had better batters so it was even. Rohit and others needed to attack other bowlers and not leave it for last overs or attack pathirana in middle overs. MI has literally no strategy
Its not Pathirana, it was hardik's bowling in the final over which cost MI the game.
First of all Hardik's statement is kind of shocking and reeks of self-pity. I think the whole hullabaloo surrounding Hardik-Rohit should not be explained from the point of view of EPL etc. It all boils down to 2 things in my opinion,
(1) The cult worship of certain people for unknown reasons (only in INDIA). I remember a similar backlash when MS was replaced by Smith at RPS, forcibly by the owners. The owners had to cope with a lot of hate. For such a transition to be smooth, the baton has to be handed over to a new captain by the previous in full public glare(or acceptance demonstrated in social media) In Hardik's case, the tweets of Rohit's wife and certain senior MI players did not help the transition one bit.
(2) We Indians savor and cherish loyalty and despise people who shift loyalty esp for monetary benefits(eventhough it makes personal rational sense). This is one of the sole reasons why KOHLI and ABD refused to play in any other team other than RCB even though they could have hit a jackpot or even won a IPL trophy or two. Hardik lost a great opportunity of becoming a MSD like cult in GT. His redemption as of now looks very bleak.
Did Hardik have a choice to stay in GT if the owners have agreed to trade him in with MI? Wasn't it a deal struck between the MI and GT owners or do the concerned players have a choice as well?

I think the main problem with mumbai is they are not able to accept hardik, he is a great captain, notice before the 20th over, it was hardik who brought the game back to MI's end by taking rutu out. Finally someone who can understand our(MI fans) reason behind the upset. We dint groom an MI product but just gave it all to Pandya by sacking out captain. Had there been a transition from rohit to pandya over a year, we’d be behind it 100%

Looking at the situation of MI, it's pretty sure Rohit, Sky and Bumrah wud b leaving them for next year IPL.
